33. "Do you miss me?"

*Next day

*Emily's POV

Today, I'm gonna go back to studying seriously because I don't want to fail in this first semester exam. It will affect my second semester and the whole year. I went to school and started to focus on every lesson and study very hard. Even at breaktime too, my class also stays to review all the lessons rather than go out and play or eat because the exam will come in 2 more weeks.

In these 2 weeks, I didn't pay attention to anything around me other than studying actually, so I rarely see the Skz gang or Chan these days. Even if we saw each other, we would just walked pass each other like we were strangers but I didn't mind much so it's fine for me.

Day to night, I did nothing but just studied at school and library with Yeji and Seungmin (Well, Changbin seems so quiet lately but I think because of the exam, he has alot of homework to do which makes him busy so I don't care much).

Finally, exam week came and honestly I was so ready for this...I think this is gonna be great, I will pass these tests. But of course I'm still nervous, well who doesn't? What if the test goes the way that I didn't want it to go, like asking some difficult questions that I didn't know how to answer? Math is my weakness and today I have it. I know I have reviewed it alot, done alot of homework but I still have a little uncertainty about this.

"Emily?" - a hand placed on my shoulder.

"Chan?" - I haven't talked to him since that night.

"What subject will you have today?" - he asked politely.

"Uh- math, you?"

"Chemist, my weakness." - he sighed.

"Ah, math is my weakness too." - I sighed too.

"Did you study?"

"Yes I did. But I don't know how this is gonna turn out, cause I always have very low points even if I studied hard." - this is a fact, I always got below 60.

"Hmmm...I see your problem, I know why."

"Why?"

"Because you lack confidence...when I said that Chemist is my weakness because it's the fact that I didn't study hard. But you, you had studied real hard in the library and at school even at home...I think the only thing you have to do now is just to relax your mind and just be confident that you will pass the test because you have already worked hard." - he said in a very calm way.

I was amazed, he's right...I'm always lack of confident and really freak out during the test. I also sweat alot so that's why my brain is always empty while doing the test...

Ring! Ring! Ring!

"Oh? I think it's time. Good luck." - he waved at me while running to his class.

"Good luck to you too..." - I whispered and walked in the classroom.

I sat down, Mr. Bae is my class examiner and also the math teacher. These days, I asked her alot about math problems and she helped me alot so I can't let her down this time. Time has come, the papers passed down to my desk...I read it...YASSSSS,I CAN DO THISSS!!!!

I had done my test in just 20 mins, well at least I've checked it again alot rather than sleeping. After the math test, all the remaining subjects were pretty easy for me. It's not a waste to study so hard these days, I've got a 95 on a math test! I never got this high before, OMGGGG...

I told my parents when calling them and they're very proud of me, ahh I miss them so much...After the exam week, Yeji and Hyunjin also found the hotel and the tickets and they already booked it. As they said, Changbin is gonna be the one who's paying for me so I don't have to worry about anything and quite chill these days.
