Dear my Queen,
I had fallen for you since the beginning.
As you gracefully plucked the strings of your weapon, I was entranced at your cerulean orbs as they gazed back at my own. Your ethereal voice echoed through the forest as the wind only harmonized with your hymn.
"北方有佳人 ( běi fāng yǒu jiā rén)."
You were a foreign creature.
I knew you used that voice of yours to execute millions....Yet you had learned the language of my people. Your golden colored hair blew gracefully with the breeze, and it only complimented your vermillion dress. The familiar beating in my chest and the warm aura you emitted made me feel at home. It was then I could finally remember this curse.
We were beings far beyond the comprehension of humans.
Aging and Death were effects we existed out of. I could remember your crisp scent. You were the goddess of the fairies and the forest. I was never supposed to exist. I was chaos and evil incarnate yet you opened your heart to me. We were the complete opposite of each other. We promised each other that we would create our own world to rule. We almost completed our dream. I would make you my one and only queen. The one being I would bow down to.
But that white haired wench took everything.
She looked like an angel but schemed like a devil. She claimed that she cursed us to protect the light, as I was a 'threat to the heavens'. I would've been happy if she had only hurt me. But her jealousy of our love caused you to suffer my queen. I was forced to watch as you struggled every lifetime. We would be reunited and happy until that wench would steal it all away and erase our memories.
It's a miracle I figured it out now, I must find a way for us to break out of this bind and finally be happy together. No matter what I will make you my empress. Even if it is eons, my soul will always remember you even if my mind cannot.
But for how much longer must you go through this? Have the gods forsaken their goddess? You were among the most favored in the heavens so why are they silent to the betrayal they have caused us? Why does it seem like the fate of the universe is against us?
In the end I could care less.
My love for you overcomes any power or law of this world. I will wage war with anyone for our reunion and your happiness my love. You are my purpose...my light in the dark...my muse. The more you struggle in each lifetime the stronger you become. I have no doubt in your strength as I have seen it myself.
Soon there will be a chance to avenge your suffering. I will make that white haired b*tch suffer even more. There will be a time when we beings are on even playing field. I will be patient until then. I wouldn't have survived this long if it wasn't for seeing you. Even just glancing at your figure for a second I feel a rush of energy and happiness pervade my heart.
I remember all of our memories. There were times we were kings, or when we had been wandering vagabonds. We had been everything and nothing all at once. I admire the human world after interacting with it for so long. They are free from the heavens and choose their own path. I admire their tenacity, the perseverance.
That's where I believe the gods make a fatal error. It is possible for a human to ascend into higher levels of being. I have been close but the curse blocks off my ascension. I searched everywhere to find a solution. It was then I came across the sorcerer.
They would be able to break the curse but the only drawback would be my memory loss in my next lifetime. However, I trust that our natural connection would find it way back together. I know we will be together at last. I can't wait to reunite with you my queen.
Sincerely,
Your King
