"Have you heard?"

"Ever since Empress Navier started wearing that pendant she had completely changed."

.

.

.

Some say that the Empress had finally gotten over the emperor's affair and sought her own lover. It was truly chaos in the palace. Wherever Empress Navier walked, she heard the Rumors. Usually she would try to find the source and get rid of it, but she rather enjoyed the feeling.

Maybe she wanted Sovieshu to feel how she had felt.

'I am not one for petty revenge, but it's enjoyable to partake in the activity.' She thought as she grinned.

When she had finally reached her room, a hand on her shoulder stopped her movement.

"Navier...what is everyone talking about?"

Veins grew in her forehead as she became annoyed.

'Of course he would come only when he heard about it.' The empress rolled her eyes and she pushed his hand off and continued her daily duties in her office.

"Why must the emperor bother me for such filial purposes?"

Sovieshu completely ignored her question and continued to pester her for answers.

"Who is this man?"

"What man?"

"Your Lover."

Navier couldn't help but laughed in amusement.

"You really believe that?" Navier sat down and continued to sign paperwork on her desk and Sovieshu stood at the edge of the table.

Sovieshu sighed and pressed on, " I know that pendant your wearing is a gift from the Foreign Emperor ...Tell me...are your type foreign men?"

Navier stopped signing on the documents and looked him in the eye. "I am appalled you really believe that your majesty."

"Well, why would you write letters to those men and wear their gifts?"

"Because it is out of respect your majesty; I must wear this to create good international relations. Plus, it is a rather beautiful piece of jewelry so why not?"

"I buy you precious jewelry all the time, some more beautiful than the one you are wearing on your head. Are you doing this to spite me?"

Navier sighed and raised her voice. "Why is any of this your business your majesty? Why do you only want a say in what I can or cannot do when it involves other men?"

Sovieshu stood in shock, "I-"

Navier stood from her seat as she looked him dead in the eye.

"You have ignored me whenever I expressed discomfort in your relationship with that white haired woman...I am tired of trying to chase after you like a child when I have a kingdom to worry about."
