A/n: i like to imagine harper as phoebe tonkin but you can imagine her how ever you'd like.

Harper POV:

As we got in the car i put Hope in the backseat really strapped in and as we began the drive back to the hospital she ended up falling asleep and that gave me the perfect opportunity to tell Kai what happened inside the office.

"so are you going to tell me what happened in the office?"he asked,

"well long story short i beat that bitch's ass."i said as i looked over at hope to make sure she wasn't awake to hear me say that.

"you are one overprotective Mom."he said as he focused back on the road.

"yeah well she's my kid i have to protect her and make sure nothing happens to her because she deserves a better life than what i had growing up."i said as i kept on looking at her she's a little angle but has the face of the devil that made her happen.

"joys of being a parent right."i said as i looked down at my phone.

"if you don't mind me asking who's hope's father?"he asked.

"hope's dad is not a part of her life not anymore."i said as i got a flashback.

flashback:

i waited anxiously as i kept on looking at the clock ive been gone for over 15 minutes they might start looking for me i started panicking i heard rumbling downstairs of what sounded like shots and yelling i opened the door and saw blood splattered across the hall,

"FIND HER!"i heard that voice that i fear so much say.

i quickly got back into the bathroom and locked the door what was i doing if he finds me it won't be good i looked at the test and turned it over quickly as saw the two dark lines,my eyes widened in shock i was pregnant, pregnant with that monster's kid.

my eyes started getting watery as i slid down on the wall and started crying im guessing that by my loud sobs that his men had found me they started yelling.

"boss i think she's in here!"i heard them yell i stared in horror as the door knob kept on shaking and the pounding on the door, i got up and wiped my tears away and fixed myself and hid the test in the pocket i had on my dress i opened the door and saw his men when they saw me they grabbed me harshly and led me to that monster's room and threw me in there locking the door,

i got up and banged on the door begging them to let me go i was terrified of what's gonna happen when he gets in here.

"PLS JUST LET ME OUT! plss.."i said as i started crying harder the door finally opened and the monster came in and closed the door behind me i started backing away slowly.

"princess why are you backing away."he asked as he grabbed my shoulders and threw me on the bed.

"pls don't."i said in a shaky voice.

"pls don't what? princess did you forget our little rule."he said as he got on top of me and started pulling down my dress.

"pls i don't want to do this just let me go."i said as i cried.

he then slapped hard and then grabbed my chin roughly.

"princess i already told you multiple times that your mine! and that i will never let you go!"he said as ripped off my dress completely and started kissing my neck i kept on trying to push him off me but he was stronger than he kissed down to my private area and took of my underwear and started rubbing me i kept on screaming for him to stop and that i didn't wanna do this but he beat me again and again every time i yelled he then injected me with some type of drug it made my vision and then the darkness flooding my eyes.

the next morning i woke up with pain between my legs i sat up and realized that i was naked and quickly covered my self with a blanket but i felt something wet between my legs i looked and saw blood coming out tears started forming in my eyes as i covered my mouth in shock he raped me again but this time it was much worse but i was more worried about whats growing inside me than myself.

Back to present day:

i woke up in what looks like an office? what was i doing in a office? but i remembered in the car i must have passed out or slept i don't know but then it hit me that hope wasn't beside me i got up and put on my shoes and walked through the door which led me into a much more bigger office i heard laughter coming from one of the rooms i followed it i went inside and found hope playing with Kai? why the fuck is she playing with someone she barely knows?

"mommy!"she yelled as she put her arms up signaling me to pick her up.

"hey butterfly."i said as i kissed her cheeks.

i put her down and looked over at Kai,

"i can see that your confused so let's talk outside."he said as grabbed my hand gently and pulled me outside.

"why the fuck am i here what happened?!"i said.

"you kind of passed out for some reason and of course i couldn't take you home because i don't know where you live so i decided to take you here." he said.

"but im supposed to be at work! oh god im probably going to get into so much trouble." i said as i panicked and paced back and fourth.

"Darling don't worry." he said as he took a sip of his drink " i took care of it and you now have the afternoons off but you'll payment will still be the same." he said as he smiled.

"WHAT!" i practically yelled. "what- what's wrong did i do something wrong love?" he said as he placed his hands on my shoulders.

"yes you did im a surgeon Kai! i practically have to work all day a lot of people have surgeries everyday and i have like 2 surgeries tomorrow i can't reschedule the appointments! and they're in the bloody afternoon!" i yelled as i shoved his hands off my shoulders i mean he was just trying to be nice and i appreciate that but he doesn't understand how much working means to me, god why am i being so dramatic over this i don't know its just working is very important to me and it keeps me from getting in debt but im still getting paid the same amount that's good right? oh i don't know! you know what i have to calm down because freaking out isn't the best thing to do right because then ill make him feel bad and then ill feel bad and then- GOD! why am i such and overthinker get your shit straight Harper!

i turned around and took a very deep breath in and another one out and counted to 10 just to help me calm down i then turned around and smiled at him.

"you know what it's fine, Its fine ill try to reschedule the appointments for tomorrow morning but next time you pull some shit like that again i am going to end up choking the fuck out of you."i said as i walked past him and to where hope was i picked her up and walked to the nearest elevator and i could hear Kai's footsteps behind me "Black Stop!"he yelled as the footsteps got closer to the point where he was behind me i turned around "what now." i said as i clearly was annoyed "let me make it up to you."he said "and how will you do that?" i asked "look there's this ball tomorrow and i don't have a date and to make it up to you maybe if you want to you could my date to the ball?" he said as he smiled slightly hoping for an answer " ill think about it d'angelo." i said as i the elevator doors opened and i walked in and put hope down before the elevator doors closed i saw that he nodded and said "ill be expecting a response." he said as he walked away. did this piece of shit really just ask me out?
