Let me explain

"Sit down." He said sternly as he patted the seat beside him.

I sat there.

"Tell me everything, Harper." He said.

I looked at him hesitantly.

"Harper i know that i only met you a week ago but you can trust me," he then proceeded to put his hand on my knee.

I nodded slowly in response.
"It all started when I was 8 years old. I was chosen for a program that made young girls into woman assassins, i never really knew my parents because i was living at an orphanage at the time so I felt special that i was chosen to do something." I proceeded.

"But boy I was wrong it was horrible there, if you did something wrong or messed up your move you would get severely beaten until you learned to do it right. I was one of the best in the group because as they would say that i was a natural born fighter and i believed them. Five years went by and one day I got called into the bosses office I've never been called there before I thought I was in trouble so I prepared for the worst."

"When I walked in i saw boss with." I took a long pause.

"With him. I didn't know what was going on until boss asked me to sit down and i did the man sitting beside me stared at me like i was a piece of meat and i felt uncomfortable but i shoved it off. Then boss proceeded to say that i was being chosen to go with the big boss."

"I asked him why and the man sitting next to me proceeded to say it was because he had found interest in me and he saw how talented I was and then he said that i was beautiful as well. I smiled brightly and the boss said that I was to move in with the man today."

"I was excited like really excited, I felt like someone chose me for my talents and being called beautiful was something no one had ever told me so I felt special. When I finished packing all my stuff the man escorted me out of the building and we went into this fancy limo, when we went Inside he told me to sit on his lap and so I did but then he started moving me around and he started making noises as the car was moving."

"I asked him what he was doing... and he stared at me intensively and told me to stop talking and then he told me to move around and I knew something wasn't right so I refused and that made him mad so he slapped me across the face I ended up falling on the other seat, then he put his hand and wrapped it around my throat tightly and told me. That if I ever refused to anything again he would beat and kill me."

"For the first time in 5 years I felt weak and powerless so I nodded while a few tears ran down my face. Then he unwrapped his hands from my throat and wiped my tears away and said to not cry because it takes away my beauty and I didn't speak to him for the entire ride."

"For the next few weeks I did as I was told I didn't refuse to anything, then my fourteenth birthday came around I was excited because I wanted to ask him if I could go out and have fun so I went into his office and asked him he laughed it out and told me that I wouldn't be going anywhere because tomorrow there was an important ceremony at night and that he would be throwing me a party to celebrate my birthday."

"He told me that I could order any dress I wanted for the party and I was Beyond happy I was all for jeans and oversized t-shirts but I also liked dresses. The next day came around and it was around 5:30 in the afternoon I was wearing a beautiful blue dress with blue heels and my hair was curled and my makeup was absolutely stunning. Then when I walked down the stairs everyone's eyes turned on me I looked at him and he smiled warmly at me and I smiled back. When I reached the bottom of the stairs his hand reached out for mine and we danced all night it was magical I felt as if there was some good in him and there was."

"When the party ended I was escorted to a room they told me to wait there and so I did, I wasn't prepared for what was about to happen and that night scarred me for life because that was night that he raped me, also the night where he took away my innocence." A tear fell down my cheek, I bit my bottom lip as I bounced my leg up and down.

I could see that Kai's eyes softened.

"It when on like this for years he would rape me every night and every time it was over I would feel disgusted at myself I somehow thought that it was my fault. Then when I was sixteen years old I found out I was pregnant with hope I was scared of what he would do if he found out so I hid it from him. That night he raped me hardly that in the morning I could see blood on the sheets." I said through my tears.

"Harper come here." He said and pulled me into a warm hug.

I cried in his arms for what felt like hours but was only a few minutes.

"I'm so sorry that happened to you love." He said then kissed my head softly.

"And we are too." Aria said softly as she and Mary entered the room.

Mary sat next to me and placed her hand on my shoulder I could see her eyes getting watery.

Aria sat across from us.

"How did you escape?" She asked.

"There was an attack that happened I was out in the kitchen and I was alone with one of my friends her name was Isabela she was a maid there and like a mother to me. We heard shots and things smashing, isabela was the only one who knew that I was pregnant so she closed the kitchen door and locked it and gave me some money and led me out through a door that led you outside she told me to run and to never come back. She then gave me her necklace and told me to be free." I looked down as a few more tears came down.

Flashback 5 years ago:
"Here's some money." Isabela said and shoved it in my hands.

"Isabela i can't leave you here." I said as a tear ran down my face.

"Mi Niña don't cry." She said and wiped a tear away.

"You have to go and be free you do not deserve to stay here and die especially with your only hope of happiness living in your womb." She said through her tears.

I pulled her into a hug tightly.

"Te quiero mucho Isabela." I said.

"Yo también me niña bella."she said before pulling away.

She put her hands on my cheeks and smiled.

"Go, go and live your life and also remember that I will always love you para siempre" she said and gave me her necklace and placed it on my hands.

"Para siempre.." was the last thing before I ran off and didn't look back, tears started crashing down my face.

Flashback ended:
"I probably ran for a few hours until I was in the city. I lived on the streets for probably three weeks until a woman took me in her home, she also happens to be the woman that Hope now calls grandma." I said and looked back up.

"What's his name." Kai asked.

I looked at him and took a long pause before saying.

"Riccardo Rossi" I said blankly.

Everyone went into shock.

I looked back at Kai and saw that his eyes darkened.

"You may all go." He said.

I looked back down when Mary placed both her hands on my shoulders.

"Let's go Mi vida." She said softly.

I nodded and stood up and so did Aria.

I looked back at Kai and saw he was looking down. He looked up at me and I slowly looked away from him and walked out the door.
