"Okay so yesterday, we spent the whole day together," Mac gossiped to Dee.

"Doing what?"

"We worked out together and then we went for a walk. After that, we just watched movies at his place,"

"Did you spend the night?"

"Yeah, Dee obviously,"

She smiled and felt happy for Mac and his new relationship.

It had been a couple of days since they got back from the trip and yesterday Mac and Brandon had finally made it official.

"Also," he smiled. "He asked me to be his boyfriend,"

"Really? You said yeah right?"

"Yes, I said yeah Dee,"

"That's awesome. I'm happy for you,"

"Thanks," he smiled.

Dennis and Frank walked in from the back office.

"What are ya' happy about?" Frank asked.

"Well, Mac just told me he now has an official boyfriend,"

"Who? The blondie who went with us? I like him he's got the voice of an angel,"

"Yeah him," Mac smiled trying to calm his nerves.

Dennis didn't make a comment as he held a clipboard and did inventory of the alcohol behind the counter.

Mac hadn't told Dennis yet and was beginning to feel guilty about it.

For decades they have told each other everything but after the way, Dennis reacted to Mac the other day he wasn't too keen on updating him on his love life.

Mac didn't want Dennis' sour attitude to put him in a bad mood. Regardless he still wanted to be to one to tell him. Oddly enough Mac wasn't mad at Dee, it was clear she was happy for him and he was appreciative for that.

Dennis continued to look down at his clipboard and occasionally scribble numbers onto it.

He knew it was bound to happen but couldn't Mac have told him in private?

Finding out through Dee instead of through his best friend almost hurt as much as the news itself.

"I'm heading out," Dee mumbled.

"Where you goin'?" asked Frank.

"I've got a new scheme. I'm heading to a spin class, becoming friends with the fitness obsessed women there so I scam them into buying that Invigaron crap,"

"Ew. You still have that stuff?" Mac asked.

"Three cases left. I'll get rid of them by this week," she shrugged so sure of her scamming abilities.

"Later losers," she mumbled.

Mac waved her away as he picked up his phone to reply to the funny video Brandon had sent him. His reply of a gif of a baby laughing started a chain of gifs as replies that left a goofy smile on Mac's face.

Frank walked to the back office and Dennis awkwardly drummed his pen on his clipboard.

"25," he mumbled as he wrote down the number.
