Taehyung P.O.V.
It was finally Friday afternoon and I was at Jin's Cafe in the middle of my shift. I was tired and just wanted to finish everything in order to lie on my couch and watch some random movie. Jin had been feeling down since the drama with Namjoon and Jimin being all nosy wasn't helping much either.
I had a fifteen minutes break. I went to one of the free tables by the window. It was fall season and the streets were full of brown and orange leaves. I really liked autumn. It made me feel mixed feelings. It made me feel some kind of comfortable sadness. I was deep in thought when my phone started buzzing in my pocket. I grabbed it and unlocked the screen to see a chat that I didn't recognize.
Thanksgiving trip
Unknown 1: Hello helloUnknown 2: wooooww, finallyyyyy
Unknown 1: well, you could've made the group yourself if you were that thirsty Hobi ;)
Kookie: lmaoo Yoongi hyung don't be such a grumpy grandpa
Unknown 1: whatever
Unknown 1: we should start preparing everything for next weeknd
I opened my eyes wide in surprise. I hadn't forget about Thanksgiving plans. I even talked about it yesterday with Jungkook. But after all that happened on Tuesday, I wasn't sure they'd still create a group and be all natural about it.
I snapped my head to look over where Jin was. He was looking at his phone too, his face pale as hi bitted his lower lip nervously. We hadn't talked about Namjoon since it all happened but it was obvious he wasn't feeling comfortable with the group chat or the planning. He looked up from the screen and looked at me. I stood up and walked to the counter in front of where he was. My body leaning on the fancy furniture.
"Hyung" I started saying.
"It's okay, don't worry" he said, giving me half a smile. I sighed and shook my head slightly.
"We both know it's not fine. I can come up with any excuse and tell them not to come if you want" he just shook his head.
"Don't even dream about it. We're all going and having the best Thanksgiving ever" he said as he winked at me. I just inhaled deeply and went to the other side of the counter where he was to dry some cups. I knew why he was doing that and it made me feel awfully bad. Jin always had out me before anything since my mom left and I hated it. But I knew nothing would change his mind so I just decided to let it slide, as I always did.
A thought just came to my mind and made me tired. There was something we needed to do if we wanted to have a calm Thanksgiving.
"Hyung" I called the older to make him pay me attention. He hummed in response as he was organizing the cake section.
"We need to talk to Jimin and explain everything to him.'' I was already tired with the mere fact of thinking about it. Jin looked at me and I could say he was thinking the same too. He sighed loudly before speaking.
"I'll call him to meet us here later".
"Okay" I said, already knowing what was coming. I wouldn't be able to relax on my couch today. Fantastic, I thought with irony.
The rest of the shift passed by without incidents. The last client was leaving the building as a happy blonde boy came bouncing. He was wearing his dancing outfit that consisted of baggy black pants and a white sleeveless shirt with something written on it. A black sweater zipped just halfway and his hair still a bit dumped of sweat.
