Taehyung P.O.V

I woke up to the smell of Jungkook's scent. My head was resting on his chest, his arm around my waist. I could hear the rhythm of his heartbeat, his chest going up and down slowly with each breathing. I closed my eyes one last time, indulging myself in the peaceful feeling before going back to reality. Yesterday had been a day full of emotions and the way it finished was bittersweet in my palate. I could still feel Jungkook's lips on mine, the warmth of his tongue sailing through every corner of my mouth. I wanted that feeling to last forever. With that thought, I removed myself from his body warmth and sat up on the bed with my back on the headboard. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply, trying to suffocate the fire within me.

What happened last night couldn't happen again, not with Jungkook. He was such a sweet and innocent boy who deserved much better than me. I got out of bed carefully, trying to not wake him up. I was almost out when I felt a firm hold in my wrist, making me turn my head in surprise. Dark doe eyes were staring back at me, sending chills through my back.

"Where are you going?" Said Jungkook with a hoarse voice from sleep. I gulped and freed myself from his grab. He looked at me with a frown. I stood up and looked at him as he sat up on the bed. His hair was messy and his face puffy, making him look like the most beautiful human being.

"I'm going to the bathroom" I said trying to avoid his piercing look.

"No, you're not" he said. "You're not coming back, are you?" He asked in a whisper. I felt my heart break a small crack at his words. Nothing should've happened last night, I shouldn't have given him hopes for something that wasn't going to happen.

"Kook-ah" I called him as gently as I could as I sat on the edge of the bed, keeping my distance from him. Jungkook looked at me with sad eyes.

"I know what you're gonna say, hyung. Don't bother" he said. His voice was a bit less hoarse by now and his hands were busy playing with the blanket.

"I'm sorry. I should have known better. I'm sorry Jungkook-ah" I said, trying to sound as sorry as I really was. Jungkook just stayed there, with his eyes on mine. I tried to read them, to understand what was going on in his head, but I couldn't decipher one single emotion.

Both of us were startled when the door opened and Jin barged into my room, his hand still on the door knob as he looked at both of us on bed. I sighed loudly at the memory of everything I said to him yesterday. What a way of beginning the day, I thought to myself.

"Morning sleeping beauties. For how long are you gonna sleep? There's a hundred things we need to do before Mr. Kim gets home" he said as he entered a bit more. I looked at him and then at Jungkook as I stood up from the bed and the younger did the same.

"Morning hyung" said Jungkook in a whisper before leaving the room and shutting the door closed without sparing me a glance. I wanted to punch myself in the face, and hoped that Jungkook wouldn't be upset for very long. I passed a hand through my hair in frustration and let out one more sigh. Jin was staring at me with one hand on his hip, his left foot tapping the floor.

"Sit" he said with a stern voice motioning to the bed with his head. I complied and sat, knowing that I had no excuse for what I did yesterday to him.

"How's your hand?" I asked, looking at the bandage that covered almost completely his left hand. He exhaled loudly and came to sit next to me with his eyes on the bandage before going back to me.

"It hurts" he said. "That's what you want me to say?" My head was hanging low at his words, knowing that he was serious. I was fiddling with my fingers without saying a word. He put his hand on my shoulder as he spoke again.
