There are currently five living offsprings of the Empress:

The First Princess, Feng Yunshan 17 years old. Born before the current Empress was coronated. She was more than one year old before the Empress went to defend the YinYue Empire. Born from an Imperial consort.

The Second Princess, Feng Yunshui 16 years old. Born before the current Empress was coronated. She was months old before the current Empress went to defend the YinYue Empire. Born from the Emperor consort.

The Third Princess, Feng Yunhui 16 years old, a month older than the second princess. Born from the imperial concubine.

The Fourth Princess, Feng Yunran, born 15 years after the current Empress came back from defending her country. Currently the youngest princess. 6 months old. Born from a favored imperial noble consort.

The only prince born was also a child born from the imperial noble consort. The Eldest Prince Feng Yunruo, the most favored child of the Empress and the first beauty of the empire. He was born when the Empress was titled the crown princess. He was 18 years old this year and was delayed (didn't get married at the best age- 15 years old) because the respectable Abbess once made a divination that the Eldest Prince is destined to a daughter-in-law who will support the dragon (Reigning ruler) and usher in another thousand years of foundation for their dynasty and leave behind accomplishments that change generations.

The Empress was a believer of fate and Buddhism that she easily believed the divination.

But where could the Empress find such an amazing daughter-in-law? The Abbess said that she was not an offspring of her courtiers. She was not born within her empire or enemy nations. The Empress didn't need to find her herself, the amazing daughter-in-law will personally deliver herself at her door. But the Abbess said that it wouldn't be easy to tame her future daughter-in-law. The only clue left was for the strange things to appear at the site of her arrival, there must be a strange phenomenon on the sky, and the daughter-in-law's appearance must be of outstanding beauty with strange features.

These clues... are unreliable.

The Empress could only be confused. Was her future daughter-in-law born under a rock? Or at the sea? She even ridiculously thought that maybe it was a daughter-in-law from the ninth heavens who stand aloof of worldly affairs as the monk said that it wouldn't be easy to let her become her beloved prince's wife. Anyway, she didn't dare think more. She is the owner of the Great YinYue Empire, what could make it difficult to get her daughter-in-law to marry her son?

So she heavily favored her eldest prince. Trained him to (tempt) become a perfect husband. Even at the battlefield, she didn't forget finding her eldest prince numerous teachers with different techniques (cough, you know). The Empress also raised the father of her eldest son to an imperial noble consort, just below the rank of the emperor consort.

Eldest Prince Yunruo was raised as a first beauty of the YinYue Empire with resounding reputation across the land and the seas. With countless suitors that can circle the world. But until the age of 18, he was not married yet. The Empress got anxious and consulted the revered Abbess again but the Abbess herself told that it wasn't a time yet. The Empress was slowly losing hope.

Currently, the most favored Imperial Noble Consort Han, the father of the Eldest Prince was also anxious to marry out his son if not for the Empress hindering him.

"Son, the destined princess consort, where could she arrive? The Emperor and the imperial concubines have begun to move. You're now 18 and have passed the best age. Would the future princess consort still accept you?"

Imperial Noble Consort Han scrupulously word out his worries to his capable son. He became the current most favored husband of the Empress and was promoted to imperial noble consort since Feng Yunruo was born til now and birthed the fourth princess if not because of his son's methods.

"Father consort, there's no need to worry. Father Emperor will not rashly act against us. The imperial concubines will dare not scheme against me as we are under the eyes of Mother Empress." Phoenix eyes narrowed, his thick and long eyelashes gently fanned his cheeks, hiding his emotions. His jade white fingers held a delicate and exquisite tea cup to his ruddy and tempting lips as he smiled a smile that was not a smile. His every move filled with beauty and elegance. So perfect that even Imperial Noble Consort Han marveled at the beauty of his son.

"Furthermore, the Abbess said that it wasn't the time for the princess consort to arrive yet."
