Zhou County have a simple and prosperous life. There are a great deal of hawkers selling at the streets. An assorted people of different statuses are seen with varying number of attendants they brought, some don't have. It can also be seen in the quality of their clothes as well as the quantity of their accessories, or whether they sat in a luxurious carriages or in a chair sedan.

As the sunsets and twilight fell. The street got an addition of a great deal of people. Today was a celebration of Qixi festival or the reunion of cowherd boy and weaver girl. Also known as valentine's day. Young men were given a chance to roam about on the streets without virtuous manly ethics shackling them to their bodoirs, exchanging ambiguous glances with heroic and suave ladies.

But on such a day, the world turned gloomier as the time passes. Unlike any other Qixi festival, it wasn't a rainy day. It was as if the light was being swallowed by darkness. The whole world seems to be about to be blanketed. Even the moon seems to unable to contend with the darkness. It's light turned dimmer and dimmer until the whole world was pitch back. Only the lights from the abandoned lanterns on the streets or flickering flames from buildings remained and can be seen from afar.

The streets were in chaos. Some even kowtowed to the heavens and prayed, their foreheads bloody. Some got killed in the stampede, rushing to shelter in nearby temples. It was noisy. The cries and miserable pained howls echoed. Countless lives was reaped under the feet of panicked and despaired people.

"The heavens are enraged!!"

There were flashes of light and thunders. The wind current got picked up as if the onset of a great storm. But strangely, there is no foreboding black clouds and the air was not humid. The sky was pure pitch black, if it were not for small flickering flames coming from around the street, people will almost thought that they have gone blind.

Suddenly, the pitch darkness was as if being dragged at one point. Slowly the sky around the pitch darkness turn normal.

A void suddenly appeared at the sky, where the pitch darkness was converged. The moon was once again online. The thunders and lightning withdrew. As if the bizarre weather didn't happen, except for the void.

Everyone froze, fear and uncertainty blossomed in everyone's heart as they looked at the void in trepidation. They waited, some of them can't stand it and kneeled. Almost everyone kowtowed in the direction of the void.

The sound of whispers echoed along the wind of silence.

"!!!"

"It must be an immortal!!"

"The immortal might come out of that hole!"

"Immortal!!"

"Father, will there be a fairy sister coming from that hole?" A child in her father's embrace asked.

The man sobbed, his eyes fearful but have a hint of reverence when looking at the void.

"Yes, yes, it might be an esteemed immortal."

"Will it be the weaver girl? Or the cowherd boy?"

The man didn't answer but hugged his daughter closer.

-

"Your majesty! There's a strange phenomenon in the sky. At the direction of Zhou County."

The YinYue Empress' personal attendant, Xia-mama tried to hide her excitement as she reported.

"Is this true?" The Empress grabbed Xia-mama's shoulders, voice trembling from emotions.

Sure enough. The revered Abbess told about is true. Her Great YinYue will finally rise! Her Rou'er will finally have his princess consort.

A female attendant bowed at the Empress. "Your majesty, her grace, the revered Abbess is asking for your audience."

"Go, go, let her in." Xia-mama and the other attendant withdrew.

"Your majesty.." the revered Abbess saluted.

The Empress nodded. "You are excused."

The Empress revealed a happy expression, barely covering her impatience as well as excitement.

"Revered Abbess, when can We (Zhen) send someone to escort Our (Zhen's) daughter-in-law to Our (Zhen's) palace?"

"Answering to your majesty, your majesty may send His highness, the eldest prince to greet the destined one."

The Empress frowned, how can she let a dignified prince be an escort?

The revered Abbess saw the Empress' expression and sighed inside. If it were not the heaven's will, she will not chose to guide the two fated stars to each other, if not for the fear of....

The revered Abbess sighed once again. She can only sacrifice this much. Even if her time was shortened to a stick.

"Your majesty, forgive this minister's presumptuousness but the destined one is not an easy one. The eldest prince can only strike first to gain an upper hand, if someone gained an evil thought, they might snatch the fate of his highness with the destined one..."

The Empress was visibly alarmed. Her expression hardened. "Someone come!!"

Xia-mama bowed her head, "Your Majesty?"

"Prepare the eldest prince for journey to the Zhou County."
