Falling for the Weasley Twins

Chapter 7

George must have sensed me walking in and looked over to me. He saw my unsure look and decided to cross the room to me. He wrapped his arms around me in a comforting gesture, giving me a little kiss on the head.

"What's going on?" I ask "who's this?"

"Thats Martha" George says quietly "we grew up together, she was Fred's girlfriend a year ago. But she broke his heart"

"And why is she in our room?" I ask, my voice getting steely

"My guess is she's heard the rumours going around and has come to find out if they're true" he murmurs

"Uh huh" I say, unimpressed

Who invites themselves into someone else's room? The hell is wrong with her?

"Excuse me? Martha is it?" I ask stepping out of Georges grasp

She turned around and looked at me. Giving me a disgusted look, like she was mad I was even here. Girl, you're in my room. Get that stupid look off of your face before I smack it off.

"You're in my- our, room" I say sweetly "and we've got to go to breakfast and class soon. So if you don't mind"

I gestured to the door. She looks at Fred, maybe to see if he'll ask her to stay? But he just looks away from her. She huffs and leaves. I close the door behind her, probably a little harder than needed but it sent a message.

"Fred? Are you okay?" I ask gently, walking over to him

"I.. uh I'm not sure" he says honestly "she really hurt me"

"I know, George gave me a rough catch up" I say while pulling him into a hug "and when you're ready, you'll tell me"

"Thank you" he murmurs, burying his face into the crook of my neck

I gently stroked his hair. Giving him time to feel together enough to be ready for breakfast.

"Let's go grab some breakfast before we have to head over for Herbology" George says gently, giving his brother a smile

We hurried room get our breakfast and I was surprised by how hungry I was today. Bacon, eggs and two slices of toast! I new record. George eyed my plate approvingly.

"Someone's hungry" he chuckles

"Starving actually" I grin

We ate quickly and practically had to run to Herbology. The class was uneventful but I do find I enjoy gardening more in the wizarding world, rather than the muggle world. On the way to Transfiguration the boys chatted animatedly to their friend from the Gryffindor house. I believe his name is Adam? The girl to Adams left kept giving me inviting smiles and occasionally starting some small talk. I think her name is Aubrey? And she's Adams girlfriend? She seemed pretty nice. I wouldn't mind spending girl time with her. Having a girlfriend here would be awesome.
After a relatively boring Transfiguration lesson I decided I wanted to go spend some time in the sun. I havent spent much time outside lately.

"I'm gonna go get some sunshine" I say to Fred

"Well, we will swap over our books and meet you out there" he gives me a smile

I give him a quick kiss on the cheek and head out to the courtyard. I found a nice spot near a tree, but still in the sun enough to feel it's warmth. I felt blissfully happy while sitting out there in the sun. I hear footsteps heading my way and then someone calling my name. I looked over to see Aubrey heading my way. I give her a little wave as she hurried over to sit with me.

"So what was that?" Aubrey asks

"What was what?"

"The kiss on Georges cheek!" She grins
