Falling for the Weasley Twins

Chapter 8

When we arrived at the Great Hall we saw that Adam and Aubrey had saved us seats with them. Aubrey sat across from Adam, and I sat between her and George. Fred ducked around the other side of the huge table and sat beside Adam. The boys began joking and talking amongst themselves while Aubrey and I gossiped.

"Did you hear about what happened with Stacey and Clara after the fight?" Aubrey asks excitedly

"No I havent" I admit "besides the twins, you and Adam are the only other two I talk to here"

"Well we are pretty awesome" she jokes "but in all seriousness, they got expelled"

"What?!" I say shocked

"Yeah I over heard some of the Ravenclaw girls talking about it" she says, taking a bite of her meal "apparently Dumbledor was furious and said that they had already been warned when they got detention for bullying you"

"I didn't think they'd be expelled" I say honestly "I kind if feel bad"

"Don't. Honestly their parents are the rich snobby kind. They'll be in another school, bullying someone else by tomorrow evening" she shrugs

We changed the subject and talked about how we were both excited to explore the grounds some more on the weekend. And made plans to have some girl time on Saturday, without the boys.
I felt George snake his arm around my waist and gently pull me closer. I leaned into him after grabbing the last piece of meat from my plate. I've definitely gotten more of an appetite since coming here, but in all fairness the food is delicious. I dont think I have found something that I didn't like eating. Aubrey glanced at the hand around my waist and gave me a cheeky smile.

"Feeling cosy?" She asks wiggling her eyebrows at me

"Always" I say laughing a little

We finished our meals and George escorted me out of the Great Hall. On our way back to our room we ran into Percy. He gave us a stern look but approached us.

"So I hear you'll be joining us back at The Burrow during the holidays" he says poshly

"The Burrow?" I say a little confused "your mum did invite me to stay with you all during the holidays"

"Thats what we call the house" George explains

I mouth the word 'oh' at him turn back to Percy.

"I suppose Ginny will be thrilled to have another girl to hangout with" he says nonchalantly "but I do suggest you tell our mother about what's going on between the three of you before the break"

"How do you know about the three of us?" George asks defensively

"It's not hard to see how the two of you feel about her" he rolls his eyes "we may not be close but I'm still your big brother"

"I'll make sure Molly knows well before the break Percy" I say reassuringly "I wouldn't want for her to be uncomfortable with me being around her home"

"I'm glad" he says, giving me a soft smile "I guess welcome to the family then"

I smile back at him as he gives a curt nod and heads on his way. George looked in the direction his brother went with a perplexed look on his face.

"Hes never been that polite to anyone before" he says shocked

"Uh he always seems polite to me?" I say confused as we begin our journey down the corridor

"Yeah but that time it was genuine" he explains "not forced politeness

"Well I'm honoured" I say, smiling up at him
