VI: Soon To Be Wed
Third POV
Days had passed since Camie and Tatami's last interaction. Despite the numerous phone calls to see what's going on Tatami's never got any real response, but she was confident nothing bad had happened.
On her end, the alliance between her and the person to carry out the murder mission was successful, as they gave her multiple updates and tabs on when and where the best place the murder to take place.
The final decision? Tomorrow, 9 pm. The ending ceremony at the Croix Hotel. One might've questioned what was going down at the hotel chain that was run by Shoto Todoroki and the only answer for that would be the very first and upcoming wedding of the Katsuki Clan.
Tatami was rather surprised when the hired agent found all of this out, after all the Katsuki clan was very private and kept hush-hush about their personal affairs, but she supposed after everything that had gone down security was still in the midst of being strengthened, which left multiple openings.
It's not like they knew that a surprise attack was going to occur during the holiday season, especially not by the one person they'd least suspect.
Letting out an exhausted sigh, Tatami took a seat staring at the single framed photograph in her shabby home. It was a picture of her and Shindo on their honeymoon.
They both had toothy smiles; as Shindo carried her bridal style for the photo. Both were equally content with the person they had married. But it was all over now. That was the past and this was now, all that she'd come to cherish and hold near and dear to her heart was gone.
She felt her stomach above her satin blue dress- looking over at the window that allowed the hues of pink and orange to fill the room. The time neared.
And she couldn't have been any more excited about it.
. . .
"And with this pretty hour; I'm proud to say that this secret Santa shall commence!" Mina announced excitedly- making everyone go one by one to pick a name out of the Santa hat.
Once every paper slip with a name had been drawn from the hat- mina announced the rules, "The rules are: it either has to be homemade or store-bought but the limit is ninety bucks and they have to be under the tree BEFORE Christmas Eve."
And that was it, everyone was now dismissed to go home early and start preparing for the Bachelor & Bachelorette parties, since Katsuki had some extra business to take care of, along with the fact that there was a wedding to be held tomorrow.
Hagakure nor Ojiro had been in the base for over 3 days, seeing as how they still had to prep for the ceremony. As far as planning went the service would last until 4 am before they would have a flight to catch, taking some security with them, courtesy of Katsuki.
Protection had been a bit divided but they were sure that they could manage.
In Izuku's hands, he currently held two names, reading only one which was Aoyama, and the other name for Katsuki's eyes only.
He shifted from foot to foot, watching the neon red elevator numbers slowly climb from the lounge room to Katsuki's office floor.
The hallway to the office that took up most of the space was silent, but the closer he got the louder it became.
Someone was yelling.
He carefully approached the door, placing a hand on the metal handle, before pressing his ear gently on the door.
"What the hell do you expect me to do about that? I made it clear the last time you two decided to show up that I wasn't interested in her or making amends!"
Katsuki sounded rather upset, his tone of voice similar to that of the other day. Izuku leaned in more, but all he heard was dead silence...
No sounds of breathing or fast footsteps. Izuku was quite literally taken by surprise when the door swung open, revealing the blonde who was visibly angry.
His crimson eyes felt beady and cold when they stared into Izuku's concerned emerald pools. "Why are you up here?" He simply questioned, a glazed-over look in Katsuki's eyes.
Suddenly Izuku's throat felt clamped and dry. The aura that radiated from Katsuki was suffocating, not a single word was let out from Izuku as he tensed up.
There was a light pinging sound between them, sudden a small flash of blue appeared from Katsuki's ear, nestling in it was a black Bluetooth.
The blonde grabbed Izuku's arm, swiftly pulling them both into the office; such a motion made the boy drop the slip of paper, and with a bang of the door it'd just be the two of them from that moment on.
Just beyond the dark double doors was a hum of delight followed by a whimper and the phrase,
"I'll call you back."
It seems that they we're going to be rather late for the party, no?
. . .
Two different clubs on the opposite sides of the city.
Both owned by the Katsuki clan.
On the east side was where the ladies met up with Hagakure in their best club attire; silver heels and bedazzled jewelry flashed along with the dancefloor's electronic lights when they strutted to the closest VIP table.
In the west, the roars of laughter came from the Katsuki clan gentlemen, all wearing daunting suits garnering the attention of nearby dancers and ladies who supposedly came to ease their minds and not because they heard happy hour would start in a moment or two.
Onlookers watched both genders casually enter the buildings, bound to seduction; enjoying both views as if they were your everyday civilians.
Not cold-blooded killers and cartel organizers.
Mina downed her shot of brandy, shaking her pink soft defined curls in excitement, subtly swaying her hips to the beat of the bass from the sound system, "Ahaha! I can't wait for the wedding!" pulling Hagakure close.
The one wearing the dark blue mini dress nodded, her oval-shaped ring matching the set of dangly earrings she wore, "I'm excited too! though I suppose it's a bit rewarding knowing that I'm gonna be the first to get married."
Uraraka placed a hand on hagakure's shoulder, lifting up her salt-rimmed margarita that just arrived, "Well I think that this is enough of a reason for a cheer; TO THE KATSUKI CLAN's FIRST MARRIED WOMAN, TORU !"
"TO TORU!"
