~EPISODE 6: The Shepherd~

"You know why he doesn't remember?" Henry asked. Lydia looked at him ,amused . After the hospital incident, Regina had told Henry to stick with Lydia just in case anything happens. Lydia was lucky to come out with a bandage and some stitches on her foot but it still put her mother in protective mode. Emma gave Henry a confused look. "The curse isn't working on him, yet"

Emma let out a sigh whilst Lydia tried to hold back a laugh. "Henry," Emma started, looking into his eyes "David has amnesia"

"Which is preventing the curse from replacing his fairy tale story with fake memories" Henry explained. Emma looked behind her to Lydia with a pleading smile, asking for help. Lydia just gave her a smirk and a shrug.

Emma turned back to face henry "Right, Because everyone here has fake stories that prevent them from remembering who they really are"

"Right, and now's our chance to help him" Henry started to explain his plan. From that point, Lydia drowned out of the conversation going on in front of her. Some point tomorrow, she wants to see Evelyn again. Last time she visited was the day she had gotten injured, which was around a week ago.

She only knew Evelyn for a certain amount of time, but she already classes her as a close friend. She wished Evelyn could come into town with her. Then maybe, she could introduce her to Henry and maybe Mr Gold.

Speaking of Mr Gold, she had been visiting him every day recently. Either that would be when she's walking home from school with Henry or just visiting in general. Lydia was glad that Regina doesn't know though. She can tell that her mother and Gold are like wild cats having a big cat fight.

Lydia was brought back into her thoughts by David "Hey" He said, walking over to the three. Lydia gave him a friendly smile "You're the ones who saved me, right?" He questioned as Emma stood to her feet.

"Oh, yeah- I guess" Emma replied, placing her hands in her pockets.

"And you're the only ones I know here, '' David admitted. In the hospital, Lydia had started talking to him so he's not a stranger to her.

"You can hide with us," Emma joked as a man came over with some food. Lydia referred to the man as 'Frank' since she's seen him all night. David took some food off the plate.

"Fantastic, thank you"

"So have you ever used a sword?" Henry asked out of nowhere. Lydia let out a laugh.

"Or you know, slayed a dragon. I mean, its a regular thing to do in our area" Lydia joked as David let out a laugh and emma joined in, awkwardly

"I'm sorry?" David then faced Emma, holding out his stick thing Squer? I don't know what they called "Emma, you live with Mary Margaret, right?"

Lydia let out a whistle while Henry laughed. "You know if she's coming tonight?"

"No, she couldn't make it," Emma said, apologetically. Lydia let out a quiet 'aw' then she let out a short laugh. Behind the four, were Regina and Kathrine.

"You should get out there" Regina tried to encourage but leading to dismay. Kathrine ignored her as she filled the bowl with more food. Regina frowned and took the bowl out of her hands. "There's plenty of food, Go" Kathrine just looked down. "Be with your husband".

"I lost him once, now I have him back," Kathrine said. Regina looked at her, with fake pity "But its like i still don't have him back" Kathrine admitted looking over to regina "You have no idea how that feels"

Regina felt bits of guilt and sorrow make its way up to the surface. She tried to forget about it. Forget about him. But she couldn't. "Actually, I do" Regina said, making Katherine look at her, shocked. "I lost someone once, too"
