Thank you to everyone who has read, commented, and voted on this story! Although it wasn't a happy ending like some may hope, that truly is life. I wanted to bring that up in this tragic love story. The conclusion is that although people may love each other, they may not be good for each other. They may bring out the worst in each other; they may have hurt each other, causing irreparable damage. Whatever it may be, not all love stories have happy endings. But here's a thought:

Maybe it is a happy ending in the making. Maybe not for them, but the individual. We grow from our experiences-whether it be from joy or pain. We are meant to learn and grow from our pain. Maybe that is the key to a happy ending. Growing by learning from pain. Pain makes us stronger at times. No matter how weak we feel, we end up enduring it and come out stronger, although wounded at times.

I hope that you, dear readers, learned from this story or maybe even related to it. Poetry, in my opinion, is like a dictionary for the soul and emotion. We use it to empty our hearts and souls in order to cope and process what we feel. Whether there be a rhythm or not.

I love you all, and remember to comment, vote, and follow!

Love,
River xx
