𝘼𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙨. The greatest warrior of the Trojan War. Born to a mortal and a water Nymph. Whose immortality was granted by the supple touch of the River Styx. Statues cast to commemorate his bravery. His name was written among the Greek Gods. Everyone knew of the legend of Achilles, for he was a hero. A hero who raged war on an army in order to take revenge on the man who killed his lover.  A hero who died by the hand of someone who wished to avenge the one who they loved as well.  Paris, whose brother's soul was extinguished by Achille's fiery spear. It was Paris who possessed the arrow that pierced Achille's skin. It was Paris who killed the warrior who was thought to be immortal and as Achilles fell, as his piercing green eyes slowly turned empty and his soul left his body he was reunited once again with the man whom he loved. Achilles was a hero who fought for love, as well as a hero who died for love, but this legend is not about the greek myth known as Achilles but only of one who shared his name.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝. The Gods watched as these protectors gave their lives for sake of the world. They watched as Iron Man snapped his fingers and as the army of Thanos turned to dust just as half of humanity had done five years prior. The gods watched as the world's modern day warriors knelt in front of the body of Tony Stark, paying their respects to the man who gave his life in the final battle. Among these warriors lay Achilles herself, her nose bloody and her eyes wet. The blood caked within her fiery red hair seemed to shimmer in the light of the flames of the battle's aftermath. Grief crawled up her throat as guilt's sharp talons gripped her stomach.

𝘼𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨, 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮, 𝙜𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮. She had screamed till her voice became hoarse after she witnessed her friend, her sister, give up her life for a stone. She had cried when the life faded from Tony Starks eyes, the same eyes of the daughter who she had to explain the bravery of her father to, as well as explain why he would not be coming home no matter how brave he was. She had been angry when she watched another one of her friends leave her behind for a better life, a life she knew she wouldn't be able to have. Achilles mourned everyone that she had lost yet the hole within her still stood agape.
