𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙨𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩. It's gentle sound combined with the pitter patter of rain against the windows created a symphony which radiated a feeling of tranquility across each room. The grey skies above did nothing to detour the people of New York as each of them made their way to work, the bright shades of umbrellas bringing a new light to the damp city. The rain had come early this year, the cold wind of winter had yet to fully subside leaving everyone wrapped head to toe in scarfs and coats. Achilles had never enjoyed the cold. Though she found the snow that littered the busy pathways of New York through the months of the year beautiful, she couldn't help but shiver every time she stepped out her front door.

As a child Achilles would always be the one to  wear an extra layer of clothing, ignoring the pleas of her mother who claimed it was too hot for a jacket. She had never liked the cold but after years of being unfrozen, experimented on, forced to kill against her will and then frozen once more, Achilles had finally decided that she didn't just not like the cold. She hated it.

Electing to stay inside her new apartment, she waltzed through its halls slightly swaying to the music. She didn't mind the new apartment. Though it was completely different to the compound, and definitely larger than the small hovel she had shared with a certain red haired turned blonde whilst on the run, Achilles still felt as if she would give up everything in order to live in one of those buildings once more. Achilles didn't mind the new apartment but she knew she would need time to get used to it. For it wasn't its high ceilings and large windows that bothered her but rather the fact she had no one to share it with.
