I pointed the list of the members of my team to choose from.
"Lilian, anak, I appointed you as the president of the Software Architecture Department, it also meant that you are the most skilled. Give me a legal reason to deny this project?"
I seriously want to stomp my feet in frustration!
"Uhm..." I just shook my head, hopeless to find a legal reason.
"Mr. Claviejo will be here in a minute. Make sure to have the perfect proposal of designs for him, Lilian Eve," he added and all I could do was just nod. "We need to get them this time."
"I already invited Mr. Claviejo. We won't waste this chance, Lilian Eve," dagdag pa ni Dad.
He is a powerful man indeed—a young billionaire at the age of 26, the heir of Azure Airlines that dominates the whole world of airline industry.
"Mr. Claviejo!"
But, I left speechless. Why? He looks... Handsome as hell. He was wearing a silver-gray Armani suit paired up with silver necktie and a white handkerchief that was properly folded on the pocket-side, his slacks were silver-gray colored too and his neatly shined black shoes.
I suddenly found myself adoring him.
"Nice to meet you again, Mr. Del Valle." He smiled at my father and shook each other's hand. Even his voice caught my attention. "May I know already who is the architect that I will be joining with just in case?"
Napalunok ako at tinignan ako ni Dad. I stepped forward and tried to look at him with straight face.
"My daughter, Mr. Claviejo. She is the president of the Software Architecture Department, Lilian Del Valle." My father introduced me proudly to him.
He was looking at me. I took a few steps forward and formally offered my hand. I smiled at him professionally even though I am almost on the verge of fainting.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Claviejo."
"Pleasure to meet you, Lilian Del Valle." The way he said it—my name... Muntik na akong maglupasay sa harapan nila! "I hope you can present me proposals that can be better than the other ones."
"I'm sure she can, Mr. Claviejo. I didn't assigned her being the President of the department that she excels on," kumpyansang sagot ni Dad dito
"Really? I am more excited, Mr. Del Valle."
