Parker pov:
Eliza swings her feet around as she eats her breakfast. She hasn't looked Chester nor I directly in the eye for almost two days, not sure why though. She eats in front of us now which is a relief, I was worried it would never happen. Aside from that, we've discovered she's rather intelligent. Her kidnapper must've schooled her somehow.

She quietly eats her cereal while reading a prop book for our next video. Chester walks into the kitchen, immediately lightening up the mood. Eliza has a dark, sad vibe to her that you almost don't notice until Chester counteracts it.

"Morning babe," I say.

He smiles and goes behind me to the fridge to get some water (freak, who in fucks name drinks water).

"Morning-" A smooth, bell like voice stops him.

"Can I go to school?"

We turn to Eliza, who is now standing by the sink.  God she's quiet.

I chuckle uncomfortably, "what?"

She recoils and fidgets with her hands (which I've noticed is a nervous habit of hers), "I- I want to go to school.  I feel bad staying here all the time."

My hand goes to Chester's for some reason.  It's always a surprise to hear Eliza say something, as she's super quiet.  Not to mention her voice when she's not stuttering.  I noticed when she asked the first time, her tone was louder and serious.  Her actual voice is made to command in a pretty way, I can't fathom why she hides it in stuttering.

"I mean, we can look into it." Chester offers.

And that's the first time we've ever seen her eyes light up.

Two weeks later
Chester Pov:
Eliza spins around in a plaid skirt.  Her school uniform matches her style much to our surprise.

"Do you like it, Eliza?" Parker asks nicely, referring to the uniform she's wearing

"Do you like it, Eliza?" Parker asks nicely, referring to the uniform she's wearing.

Her dark eyes meet his, I tighten my grip on his hand, "mhm." She offers as a response.

Parker stands, "perfect."

He tugs at my hand and I stand with him as Eliza changes out of the uniform clothes.  Parker and I enrolled her in a private school for gifted students.  She passed the entrance exam with no problem, so we think it's a good fit.

We do have one worry though.  Being out at the mall currently is the first time Eliza has ever been around a large group of people.  She's been okey about it so far, but I think that's only because we're here.  Hell, she was scared of us for months, how can she handle school?

But Parker believes she'll be fine.  It was her idea to attend school, so we should give her the chance.

Then, Eliza stops walking.

Fuck.

Parker pov:
Eliza hasn't been around us for too long but when she stops dead in her tracks both of us know it's not a good thing.  Either she's gonna break down or...have a break down (not many other options).

But she doesn't cry, or hyperventilate.  Instead, she turns around, and stares at us.

"Why do you walk so far away from me?" She demands in that bell-like voice.

I don't know how she even caught that.  Chester and I always keep a subconscious distance from her, even I never noticed that we did this.  How did she pick up on it?

"Sorry," Chester says quickly, "we didn't notice, Eliza."

She looks down at her shoes, "whatever."

Chester looks at me quickly, "how did she do that?"

"I don't know."
