Parker pov:
Eliza sits folded in her chair. Hands clasped together rather than picking at her tights or sweater like she usually would. Her head is held high and her atmosphere is solemn.

Chester and I were worried when we got a call from the principal, we thought she was having a panic attack or something, but instead he wanted to talk about something else.

"As both of you know, this is a school for gifted students. But I think Eliza should be moved up with the freshman's in the Highschool. I also recommend that she be put into their special program for reading. She's incredibly smart and a fast reader, her vocabulary is excellent as well." The principal explains.

Chester and I look at her dumbfounded. "You're joking." Chester says.

The principal chuckles, "I assure you I am not.  She is quite the prodigy."

Chester pov:

Parker looks through the paperwork the principal had given us.  Eliza went back to class as we left her school but she probably won't stay here for long.

"How is that even possible?  She was kidnapped for years." I ask.

Parker turns to me and puts his arm around my shoulders, "I don't know, baby.  My best guess is that her kidnapper schooled her somehow.  Or she's just the next Matilda."

I crack a smile and kiss his cheek. He smirks.

"Should we finish filming?" I ask.

Parker nods

Parker Pov:
We picked up Eliza about 20 minutes ago.  She changed out of her uniform into black tie-die sweatpants, a tank top with fishnets underneath, and chain necklaces.  We are raising an emo. She sits on the couch, reading some book she found at the school library.

Chester is in the other room reviewing the footage we got. It turned out good from the snippets I saw. I start to walk over to where he is when Eliza's voice calls me back.

"What's Chester doing?" She asks.

Is a surprise to hear her say his name. It's weird coming out of her mouth, but I don't know why.

"Editing video footage." I say simply.

She looks at me skeptically, "what do you two even do?"

Shit I forgot we didn't tell her that, "uh, we make scary videos for YouTube."

She looks back at her book, "so that's why you were filming me."

I nod and she cracks her knuckles.  Another habit she has.  Her hands are always busy doing something.  Fidgeting with things, flipping book pages, twirling in her hair, it's odd.

Chester says shes still a little weary of us and fidgeting helps helps distract her.  I can see that being true.

"Eliza?  Do you like silly putty?" I ask, then immediately feel stupid.

She shrugs, "never played with it.  I know what it is though, the internet has my back."

I cock my head to the side, "how did you access the internet?"

Her hands fly to her hair and her book closes in her flap, I caught her, "u-um, I j-Just u-used a c-computer at school."

Sounds true enough, but I think she's lying.  I won't press her though.  I trust that she isn't doing anything bad.

At least, I hope she isn't.
