Logan

I woke up groggy and with a slight ache in my chest. I can't believe Amber snuck into my room last night. Did she honestly think I'd change my mind? Why would I want to sleep around when my mate is possibly out there? It would only cause unwanted problems and might result in her rejecting me. No one wants to find that your mate was screwing around a bunch before they met you. Granted it does happen and some werewolves don't care, but I was raised to be cautious of the fact that it could cause problems amongst those same females disrespecting my future Luna. I wasn't having that.

After, I had felt someone crawl under my covers last night I immediately woke up alert. I saw a silhouette of a person. I had grabbed them around the neck, threw them across the room and flicked my light on.

I then got in a protective stance ready to defend myself if need be. To my utter surprise it was only Amber. That might've hurt her a bit. Oh well, proves her right for sneaking into a soon to be alphas room.

"Amber, what are you doing here?" I more or so growled.

She flinched back from my alpha that leaked into my words. Then looked at me seductively.

"Don't you want me to be doing something here?"

I looked back at her with waves of disgust rolling off me in waves.

"No, Amber. Now get out of my room."

She didn't move a muscle then started moving or crawling, since she was still on my floor from my throw, towards me with a seductive smile.

"NOW Amber!" I made sure to let my alpha authority leak into my voice so she took a hint. She immediately jumped up and slightly limped out of my room and slammed the door behind her.

I stopped lingering on what happened last night when the pain in my chest started to really bother me. What the heck is going on? I got up and hopped into the shower.

I rubbed the shampoo through my hair in a haste and some soap leaked into my eyes. It only stung for awhile then went away. I then proceeded in cleaning myself with soap and rinsing off.

I got out and dried quickly. I went into my room and pulled on some boxers and dark jeans. I grabbed a white t shirt that clung to my well built self and just let my hair air dry into its normal style over my blue eyes.

I slipped on my black leather jacket, and then slung my backpack over my shoulder and headed down stairs after putting on my converse. I walked out into the hall and was again bombarded with that delicious scent. God this is torture. I could already feel Markus stirring and I had to push him down again.

It was faint but I could tell they obviously left already. The pain in my chest was still there but duller now. I walked downstairs to grab some breakfast and went into the kitchen.

I saw my plate sitting on the table. Otherwise, it seemed like everyone else had started their routine already. I scarfed down my slightly cold breakfast and high tailed it out of the pack house to my black mustang. Then I was speeding down the drive to get to school before I was late enough to get a detention slip.

Annabelle

I woke up in the morning feeling completely exhausted. Okay. That was the understatement of the century. I felt like complete sh*t.

Isabelle was pacing, or doing the equivalent as what I'd imagine a wolf does in one's mind, all night. Even though she tried to block herself off from me I could still feel her confusion and anxiety and sadness. And then I was the one overthinking because of it too.
