Colton
I groaned. My head was killing me it felt like pounding in my head. I opened my eyes and was able to see that I was in some silver chains and against a wall on the floor. I was in a cell of some sort. There weren't any bars I could see through. It was just four gray walls and one steel door. I heard some rustling, i'm not alone in here.
"Finally he wakes up!" I squinted and could make out two guys around my age that seemed to be twins.
"Yeah rise and shine sleeping beauty." Guy one teased.
"Who are you?" I asked them.
"Ever heard of the Starlight Pack?" I froze
That pack was completely slaughtered by hunters and rogues. No one was known to survive.
"Yeah and?" I asked.
"Well we are from it. Matter of fact it's me my brother, sister, dad, and it was my mom too." Guy two said. His face grew full of sorrow. I heard a growl on the right side of the cell it was from a corner.
"Sorry dad." Guy two said.
"So.. what's your name?" Guy one asked me.
"Colton. And yours?"
"Mine is Lawrence, and my brother over here is Grant." Lawrence said.
"Wait! If you guys are from Starlight Pack why are they holding you prisoner?" I asked. They wouldn't just hold a random pack member prisoner.
"Well, I was next in line to be Alpha and Grant my Beta. As you can see we are twins, but i'm older by about three minutes so I got the Alpha gene." Lawrence said.
"Yeah that makes sense." I muttered. Something caught my attention. Grant had said he also had a sister, but where was she?
"Didn't you say you have a sister?" I asked.
"Yeah, but the rotten scumbag made her go to spy on a pack. He threatened to kill us if she didn't." Grant said bitterly.
"Do you know which pack?" I needed to make sure, because Annabelle told me that Ellie was being forced to do something similar to this.
"Dark Crescent or something like that?" Lawrence said. My eyes widened.
"Does your sister happen to be named Ellie?" I asked.
"Yes! How did you know!?!" Grant questioned.
"She came to my pack, but the thing is she told everyone the real story, so we knew she was put up to it already." I whispered.
"Thank god. Now we have a chance at being free." Grant said.
"Yeah." I mumbled.
I was staring at the ground. I missed Annabelle, I hope she was okay. I sighed a deep sigh. Lawrence looked up.
"You okay?" He asked.
"I miss my girl." I said.
"Your mate?" Grant asked.
"Yeah."
"What I would give to find mine." Lawrence said.
"Me too." Grant sighed.
"Neither of you has found your mate yet?" I asked dumbfounded.
They shook their heads with a look of longing in their eyes. It was getting eery with how much they looked alike, I really hope i could find some flaw to tell them apart. Just then the steel door slammed open. A tall lean muscular man stood in the doorway. He had evil black eyes and a sadistic smile. He walked over to me and undid my chains, he was wearing gloves so he didn't get burned by the silver. He pulled me up and pushed me out of the room. A cloth was put over my eyes and I was being led somewhere. I was sat down on something firm and then my hands and feet were tied. The cloth was taken off my face. I saw a table in front of me with an arrangement of tools meant to torture. The man picked the first one up.
"Hello, my name is Larson."
And that's when the real torture began.
Annabelle
It's been two days and i've been worried sick out of my mind. We have approximately four more days until they attack. The hunters. They couldn't shift into wolf form but they had silver bullets and wolf bane. Our plan that I created had been working so far. Ellie has been giving this Larson guy 'reliable' information. So far we know that he's going to attack bright and early. Ellie has been getting information out of him slowly. The ball for the King and Queen was actually today, but we couldn't go we were all to busy training. We had to send a letter saying we wouldn't be able to make it due to pack problems.
"Up, higher! Kick! Good." I was training some of the younger fighters and hardly breaking a sweat. While they fought in wolf form I fought in human form.
I was currently demonstrating some good moves to use in human form. The wolf lunged at me, I waited until it was close enough, I dodged in the blink of an eye. When he was distracted I aimed a good kick at his side, not enough to leave a broken bone, but probably a bruise. The wolf curled in on his side, I took the advantage and lunged. I landed on top with him in a submissive bow. I got up and dusted off.
"Now time for you guys to go against each-other one in human form the other wolf form." They all paired up. Everyone was doing great. I walked around and corrected any aiming or targeting mistakes. I went and sat at a tree log and watched them train. I missed Colton, please let him be okay. I felt the log move slightly, someone had sat down. I looked out of the corner of my eye, it was Logan. I didn't hold anything against him anymore neither did Isabelle, he made his choices and I made mine.
"Are you okay?" Logan asked.
Just then I noticed the tears leaking out of my eyes, I looked at him with desperation written all over my face, I wanted Colton back. Logan opened his arms, at first I was hesitant but I needed comforting, and Colton wasn't here for that. I went and leaned into his hold and cried. I wondered how he felt? I was crying for another man, in Logan's arms when he clearly still loved me. I felt the familiar tingle that came with touching your true mates skin, I shivered I missed his touch, but I also missed Colton's. I am so confused. Colton where are you?
Queen Elizabeth
A knock on my door pulled me out of my thoughts, tonight was my duaghter's birthday ball. Charles walked into the bathroom with a letter he handed it to me.
Your royal majesties,
I am so sorry to say that my pack, The Dark Crescent Moon will not be able to attend your daughter's birthday ball. We have some pack issues on our hands that we are trying to take care of.
My sincere Apologies,
Alpha Lawnters
I handed the paper back to Charles. I had a weird gut feeling telling me my daughter wasn't going to be here tonight, but at that pack house.
"Charles, I think she might be in that pack." I turned to my husband.
"My thoughts exactly." He smiled the first real smile i've seen on him in years, I smiled back.
"Let's head out over there in a couple days, they most likely won't be expecting us." I told Charles.
"Yes, they are apparently dealing with pack issues as they put it." He said looking at the letter once more.
With one more nod he left me to continue getting dressed. I slipped on my dark purple dress and straightened the last pieces of my curly hair. I slipped into my jewelry and walked out to meet my gorgeous green eyed husband. I couldn't wait too see if my daughter was at this pack. I knew her wolf's name is Isabelle, such a pretty name. She unconsciously calls to us, her human doesn't know she does and neither does her wolf. I did originally name her Genevieve, but she may have changed it so I only remembered to know my daughter by her wolf's name, Isabelle.
