CHAPTER 10

AT NAMJINTAE'S RESIDENCE

With Jin's aid and Tae's attention, Joon calmed down. Exhaustion overtook him and he had to rest again. Jin started to make something for Joon and gave updates to Tae about his encounter with CEO JungKook. Being the protective friends they are, they came to a conclusion to not let Joon anywhere near the CEO's sight in the future. Jin then told Tae that it'll not be possible to book EATJIN for Yoongi as per his request. Tae nodded and called Yoongi's number.

"Hey, handsome."

"Yes, Tae. May I know the reason for this call, if I remember correctly, I told you that my secretary or Hoseok's will contact you for the further details of the booking?"

"Well, till now no one had contacted me, and something came up so we are not in the position to accept your advance booking."

"Why? Fine. But at least will you meet me as per our arrangement?"

"I'll let you know. Thank you for considering EATJIN'S services."

With that Tae ended up the call. He let out a long worried sigh.

"Hyung, he still wants to meet me, so can you drop me off that day. " Tae asked Jin as he started to set the table for lunch. He heard a faint hum. Jin was still cooking and the aroma made Tae mouth to water. "Smells delicious. " Tae commented, and again he heard only a faint hum. "Hyung? What are you thinking? " Tae asked noticing that Jin was blankly staring while his body is cooking in auto-pilot mode. "Hyung? " He shook Jin slightly. "Huh? Yes, Tae? " Jin blinked, "Hyung, Tell me what you are thinking. " Jin turned off the stove and placed the food on the dining table. He took a long breath, " I'm thinking of ways to not let Joon go back into his shell." He wiped his hands. "Hyung you are overthinking, we will go with the flow, we already have experience with him, so don't worry." Tae tapped his shoulder. "I think we should wake up Joon before the food gets cold."

"Hyung? Tae? There you are. Wow, my favorite dishes. Thanks, Hyung." Joon stood near the entrance of the kitchen with bed hair. "Yahh, wash your face, freshen up before you eat your food." Jin swatted away Joon's hand when he tried to have a quick bite. Joon mumbled something about being hungry and food turning cold. Jin chuckled a bit and silently signaled Tae that they would continue the topic later. Joon came back and called out his friends who were doing household chores. "You know, you don't have to do this, closing EATJIN and looking after me. I'm ok." Joon fiddled with his hands. "Joonie you know that you are not ok and also you are our priority so don't you dare to feel bad. " Jin told as he reached out to Joon's hand. Joon engulfed his friends in a quick hug. "I'm really fine. Please, let's open EATJIN." He pouted. Both friends sighed and started to do stuff for opening their shop. "But we are opening for only half days for the rest of the week, then let's go on a trip." Tae said. Joon knew that he can't say no, so he nodded. Joon really felt grateful to meet his two friends in his life.

AT EATJIN

"Welcome to EA-, oh BamBam, hi. The usual?" Tae asked as he stood at the billing counter.

BamBam nodded and went to his usual table waiting for his order. There were fewer customers today as EATJIN was only opened in the afternoon. Tae made his way to BamBam's table to get out details about his CEO and his marriage.

"So how's your day?" Tae asked. "Not good." BamBam sighed and looked down on a magazine. "Why? Did your boss and his husband give you a hard time?" Tae questioned again. "Not exactly, but yeah." BamBam looked up as he got no response. Tae looked at him even more questioningly. He sighed again. "Nothing, leave it. I guess my order should be ready by now." At the same moment, he heard Jin calling out his order number he grabbed his order and made his way out but was stopped by Tae. "If you want we can have a drink anytime." Tae gave BamBam a reassuring smile. BamBam thanked him and said he'll let him know when he is up for it. BamBam left the shop, Jin dragged Tae and asked him what he was trying to do. This turned into an argument but they stopped when they heard another customer enter.

"Mr.Jeon?"

Sorry I couldn't update as much as I wanted to. I'll try to update soon but I guess even the coming weeks would be difficult. Anyways thank you to people who are patient enough to wait for my updates and read them.
