CHAPTER 16

J- "Can I ask you a favor?"

Jin asked Yoongi to give Namjoon some company if it was not too much.

Namjoon continued to play with Holly, this one action sorted out many things in his mind. Both Yoongi and Namjoon didn't communicate much. Yoongi didn't insist on leaving with Holly even after security guards of the park told him 'times up'. Perks of being rich and being the co-founder of the park, Yoongi was able to access the park for extra time. When Yoongi returned from talking with the guards, he heard someone rapping and humming alternately. When he reached the source he saw that the owner of the voice was Namjoon. Suddenly he remembers some bits and pieces of his memory.

~ FLASHBACK~

"Let's welcome "Runch Randa" for his Debut." The MC of an underground rapper competition announced the announcement.

A frail boy with a look of ambition and determination entered the stage. His foot is tapping in nervousness but face with a confident look. The first few words of the introduction were stutters but the rap part was good with unexpected and excellent play of words. It had few swear words here and there with the flow of the song. The boy hung his head low when the judges shook their heads and rejected him, poor guy he looked heartbroken without knowing that the judges played dirty hand behind the stage.

His frailness wanted me to go and check upon him, so I practically ran behind him.

" Hey, I'm Gloss, your senior here." The boy tried to not cry and look weak.

"I'm Runch Randa."

"I heard that you came to the competition without any background support, how did you even enter?"

"If you are going to mock me it's a waste as it won't work on me." The boy glared at Gloss trying to intimidate him however it caused Gloss to chuckle.

"Peace man, I'm trying to make friends with this tough one" Gloss pointed towards the boy " and if you want maybe bring you under my wing, you know I'm super popular in this field, and being under my care means success." Gloss bragged. This caused the boy to question Gloss's intentions, not believing that he had talent and with some teaching, he would fly in colors on his own. The boy cautiously chatted with Gloss for some time and parted when he saw Gloss's friends were waiting for him. Gloss gave his number and asked the boy to contact him if he was interested to learn from him. 3 days later Gloss revised a call and that's the start of the successful journey of Runch Randa but unfortunately, the boy disappeared from the radar saying he had some personal issues he had to take care of.

"Runch Randa?" Yoongi called out startling Namjoon. Namjoon gulped acknowledging that he was indeed the person.

"WOW man, after so many years. Hoseok will not believe if I say I saw you. Where were you all these years? Sorry I didn't recognize you earlier. How are you? No wonder Holly recognized you." Yoongi got hyper as he met his favorite intelligent junior. Namjoon smiled as he didn't know Yoongi would recognize him. Well, he recognized Yoongi because of two reasons, first one, Yoongi was Jin's crush but it so happened that he was out of the underground rapping field at that time and it was a secret he had and still keeps with his angels, the second one was the breaking news of a few years back where the heir of Min corp was sighted repeatedly in a spot for underground rappers and his participation in their contests.

"I'm fine, thank you and how are you hyung? I didn't expect you to remember me." Namjoon tried to mirror his hyung's hyper behavior.

" I'm fine. So are you planning to stay outside or return to your home?" Yoongi asked with a gummy smile. Namjoon was taken aback by his question, then it clicked in his mind that his hyungs would have contacted Yoongi and that's why he was with him. Namjoon furrowed his eyebrows and clenched his jaws. Even after years, Yoongi could read Namjoon like a book.

"Calm down, Our meeting is purely coincidental. See, it is you who is almost 20 kilometers away from your home. Mine is just 3 kilometers away." Yoongi explains causing Namjoon to sigh then chuckle remembering that this man beside him will mostly be in energy-conserving mode than go out and do stuff for people who are not his top priority. Yoongi's gummy smile didn't fade away as he was with Holly as well as his always favorite sweet brother.

"Hyung I'm going to stay in a nearby motel for tonight, so don't worry." Namjoon showed his dimple smile.

"Would it be selfish if I ask you to stay with me tonight, I feel like there's a lot of catching up to do? " Yoongi winked at Namjoon. Namjoon contemplates and nods his head.

" Also if it's ok with you shall I inform to J-Hope that I met you? Do you remember the dancer? He looked for you along with me, we kinda missed you when you left abruptly." Namjoon nods again as he put down holly to take his phone and text his angels that he'll be back the next morning. Yoongi excitement was evident when he joyously spoke over the phone making Namjoon's heart feel warm, feeling wanted without any loopholes and pure love from another person whom he deeply cares for. As Yoongi ended his call he informed that Jhope is coming over too as he misses Namjoon a lot. Namjoon and Yoongi walked to Yoongi's car with Holly in Namjoon's hand. Yoongi was lowkey jealous that Holly was completely clinging to Namjoon. While speaking of things on the ride to Yoongi's house, Namjoon told Yoongi to not mention anything about being an underground rapper in past to two of his friends as it was and still is a secret. Yoongi scolded him and told him to accept his past self and be proud of it. Through a long deep conversation, he convinced Namjoon to tell his friends about it one day. At the end of the conversation, they reached the entrance of Yoongi's house. It was too big and all it's setting were screaming rich. They were welcomed by a heart-shaped smiling man. As soon as Namjoon got down the car Hoseok hugged him and looped his arm around Namjoon's as he did in the past. When they entered the dining room to have some water to their parched mouth they the whole table covered with lots of food, some were Namjoon's favorite, some were Yoongi's and Hoseok and other common dishes.

" Even though you didn't voice it out I heard your stomach grumble so I asked Hoseok to buy us some food. Wash up yourself with the bathroom necessities placed near the bathroom mirror and change into the nightdress I placed on the bed in that room and come to have dinner. I'll do the same." Yoongi gestured Namjoon to a guest room.

All these actions make Namjoon's heart swell with a lot of love. Through each action, a few of his worst insecurities like whether he is worth being loved, do some people truly love him for himself, etc, disappeared and reminded him to reprimand himself. The whole night was spent wonderfully by the three men having a heart-to-heart talk and all the previous events that happened in their life, even though they could only catch up on one-fourth of the things, they goofed around and enjoyed themselves. In the end, they ended up cuddling and sleeping with Holly.
