CHAPTER 13

TAE'S P.O.V

"Jin hyung, ChimChim wants to meet us tonight, if possible. Shall we meet him?" I asked hyung. He looked at Joonie and shook his head. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Please go and meet your friend." Joon hyung said with a soft sigh. "If you guys don't go I'll feel like I'm holding you guys back and be sad about it. Do you guys want me to be sad?" He continued. Jin sighed and agreed to meet ChimChim defeatedly. " Ask him if 6:00 - 8:00 pm is alright ok for him?" Jin hyung told me. I messaged him and got an ok within 5 minutes. It was an exhausting day, with only being able to close the cafe at 3:00 pm after the whole drama with the Jeon created, everyone's mood got down. Joonie became tired and wanted to go back home so I volunteered to drop him and come back for meeting ChimChim. It's weird though, every time, myself and Jin get to meet ChimChim but somehow Joonie and ChimChim never cross paths. If only ChimChim wasn't married I would have arranged a blind date for him and Joonie. I hummed mildly while walking with Joonie. He smiled and thanked me when we reached the doorstep of our home. I waved him bye, looked at the time. Around 10 minutes were left to meet my friend so I hurriedly walked back to the cafe to see a shocking sight. ChimChim was clinging to Mr. Jeon, convincing him to come inside. I made a coughing sound when I came near to them. Jin seems to be inside the staff-only area waiting for us. But I think Mr. Jeon is an unexpected and uninvited guest for now. I seemed to have startled the two. ChimChim smiled at me but Mr.Jeon scowled at me. I didn't even bother to react to him. I saw Mr. Jeon wrapping his hand around ChimChim's waist. I might explode any minute now. I pieced two dots and realized that the two before me were a couple and the husband ChimChim used to adore with starry eyes was Mr.Jeon. How dare he play with the feelings of 2 of my close friends? ChimChim and Joonie? I yelled for Jin hyung to open the door. Jin hyung was surprised to see the unwanted guest with our beloved friend. TO NOT upset ChimChim I kept quiet till we all reached the staff-only room. Jin hyung had set a table for 3 with soft drinks and ChimCHim's favorite cake. Jin hyung dragged a chair and fixed the table for 4 and kept a tight smile. ChimChim hung his head down while Mr. Jeon held his hand for the whole time. Not gonna lie, they are cute, but why the heck is Mr.Jeon making everything so difficult for my friends? Before my thoughts outran me ChimChim waved his hands in front of my eyes. Jin Hyung sat with folded arms.

" I'm going to confess something, please don't get mad at me." He took a deep breath.

" He is my husband Jeon Jungkook and my real name is Park Jimin. We both have a romantic interest in Kim Namjoon, your Joonie. Kookie flirted with Namjoon with my knowledge onl-" He continued. But I couldn't process anything after hearing that both of them had a romantic interest in our Joonie. I was shocked. I made a stop sign and looked at Jin, he also had almost the same expression as me.

" What?" we both asked him at the same time.

"Namjoon was my high school crush. Remember the one I used to rant about. The one who warmed up to me after pursuing for a week and then disappeared from my life, he was the one. After some time I found out he changed to the neighboring school. You know the rest of the story of how I met my husband and my longing for having a poly relationship." He told us with those starry eyes again, but this time looking at his husband. Both of them were drowning into each other's eyes, ughh, too much sweetness for me to handle. I looked at Jin and again we were mirroring each other's emotions. Haha.

"I'm not sure on how to handle this news, but I guess you guys better set the facts straight with our Joonie. He was upset that he was coming in between you two." Jin said. The scowl on Mr. Jeon's face disappeared. He looked at his husband and gave some sort of signal. ChimChim nodded and agreed on meeting Joon as soon as possible. With that, all of us except Mr.Jeon made small talks and finished our snacks. While saying bye ChimChim apologized in a whisper for pretending to not know Joonie all the while and also hurting Joonie by trapping him with guilt. We waved bye to them and closed the cafe with the shutter.

While walking home, over a conversation me and hyung came to an assumption that the boy who hurt our Joonie and made him insecure all this time might be ChimChim. This looked like the perfect opportunity for Joonie to become healed and be complete in his own way.

The house was dark when we entered, I called out for Joonie but there was no response. We panicked and tried to open his door but it was locked. We started to imagine all the worst scenarios and panicked. We banged the door, thankfully before we broke the door, Joonie opened it. He had bed hair. We sighed and engulfed him in a hug, thanking him over the fact that nothing bad happened to him. He whined about not trusting him and the fact that he had changed. I patted him on his head and played with his hair as we sat on the couch. He growled but let me do it. Hyung went to make dinner. I heard a notification sound on my phone.
