CHAPTER 18

The five men sat in the living hall, after being welcomed by Tae and Jin. " Hyung, Tae, I need to confess something." Joon scratched his neck. " There are two things. Please don't whoop my ass." Jin raised his eyebrow and Tae patiently waited for Namjoon to finish. " Mhmm, do you remember a period in high school, right after the Jimin incident, where I would not return home until late at night and sneak out even before the sunrise?" TaeJin nodded. They clearly remember it as it was the time Namjoon had completely ignored the boys for a week straight. They had to catch Namjoon slipping out of the house one day to confront him about the issue. " Well, I never told you where I went. During that time I compressed all my feelings into rap and went to participate in underground rapping. Yoongi hyung was my mentor, and I knew Hoseok hyung through him." Namjoon looked into Jin's eyes as he was expecting him to scold him, but instead, he got a bear hug from both Tae and Jin.

"Thank god you were at someplace where you could express yourself. Hey, You gotta rap for us one day ok." They wiggled their eyebrows and tickled Namjoon playfully. Those 3 completely forgot about the existence of the Yoon-Seok couple in their living hall until made "clearing his throat noise". Namjoon giggled and apologized. " And another thing, I have asked Yoongi hyung and Hoseok hyung to join us for our trip." The couple looked expectantly for a positive reaction from their potential fake boyfriends. But Taejin's face turned sour.

" When Joon invited we felt it would be nice to know each other and spend time with my dear old friend but it's okay if you were planning to go on a trip with only three of you." Hoseok gave a smile that didn't reach his eyes. Tae sighed. " Fine, if we get along well, then we will agree to the agreement." He looked towards Jin for his decision. " But aren't we the ones hiring you?" Yoongi questioned. "As we discussed in the cafe, this issue involves feelings so I would like to look out for myself and him. If we fall in love the agreement should become void, or else we should end it in a positive note at the end of agreement duration." Tae explained. " Also, I would like to court you for real, not for the agreement as I do feel attracted towards you. Will you allow me?" Jin asked Hoseok with hopeful eyes.

Hoseok hesitantly nodded as he realized he had to move on from Yoongi. " Same for me too. I would like to woo you. Will you allow me to?" Tae asked Yoongi confidently. A blush crept into Yoongi's neck as he nodded. All four were overwhelmed with the idea of spending time together that they didn't notice when Namjoon exited the hall and locked himself into the room. The Yoon-Seok couple excused themselves for a business meeting and TaeJin started planning out for the trip. Around 30 minutes later the thought that Namjoon was quiet for the whole time stuck to them. They were relieved when they confirmed he was alright.

" We got distracted the whole time. If we were to woo our crushes, we wouldn't be able to look after Joonie. It is not fair that we get to have some play in our love life and he doesn't." Tae pouted. " I have an idea. How about we invite Mr. Jeon and ChimChim. Weren't they trying to woo him? And it would be easy for us to look after him if something bad happens too." Jin said while jotting down things to do on the trip. "I'm fine with the idea but you have to convince him as this was your suggestion and please don't jinx it by saying something bad will happen." Tae rubbed his forehead to relieve himself from the headache he got from planning the trip.

They did their friendship handshake and made a call to ChimChim.

"ChimChim? Hi."

"Hi, Jinne. Is Namjoon back? Is he alright?"

"Yup he is cool. I called to ask whether you were free for this weekend."

"For the most part I'm free, only two meetings are there. Why Jinnie?"

"Me, TaeTae and Joonie are going on to trip with 2 other friends. More like people we are trying to get into a relationship with them. So I thought you and your husband also wanted to court Joonie right? So why not join us. If he permits you to court him, do it, or else if you both want to be good friends, be friends. Make this trip into a good one."

"Oh good to know. I'll talk with Jungkook and let you know."

As the call ended Jin encountered an angry-looking, pouting Joonie over the kitchen counter. "Jin, why did you do it? Why did you invite them." Joon asked.

"I invited them so that you can stop running away from your problems. As far as I know, ChimChim wouldn't hurt you. I believe Mr. Jeon is a cold but a good person too. It is up to you. You can say yes to their courting or no. Even becoming friends is up to you alone. If you are not down for it, no problem, but you gotta remember you never gave them a chance to show themselves to you and might have ended up losing 2 good people in your life." Joonie huffed and puffed, grumbled something under his breath as he dashed towards his room. "What did you say? I couldn't hear properly?" Jin shouted at him. "I said fine, I would give them a chance on this trip." Tae squealed and out of nowhere, he dragged Joonie back to Jin to give a big bear hug. "This trip will be good I promise." Tae jumped out his excitement.
