After our shower, Dane and I go to bed.
I climb on top of him, and he smiles. He traces my lips with his fingers, and they part. "How are you feeling?" His voice is a whisper, his tone soft.
"Satisfied," I shrug and give him a kiss. He smirks. "Oh, believe me, I am too. But you don't have any doubts?"
I shake my head. Doubts? Why would I have doubts?
"Okay then. Want to do something else? Reading, gaming, eating ice cream?"
I smile and nod. "Ice cream would be fun," I squeak and he grins. "I knew you would choose that. Let's go."
He picks me up and holds me tightly tucked to his chest while he walks downstairs. I get a feeling he's trying something, that he's unsure about it.
He takes the ice cream from the freezer and sits down with me on the couch. He gives me a spoon and we start eating.
"Are you okay?" I softly ask. His eyes snap to mine, worry in it. "Yeah, of course. What's wrong? Did I do something? Oh God, did I hurt you?"
His eyes roover over my body. I frown and cup his face. "Dane, Dane. Look at me. There's something wrong with you. I'm totally okay," I calm him.
He looks down. "No, there's nothing." I raise an eyebrow and he sighs. "Okay, maybe there is. I just... I know about aftercare and stuff, but I don't know how to do it. I know I have to make you feel loved, to take care of you, but I'm scared I do it all wrong," he admits.
I frown sympathetically. "Dane, you're doing a great job. I feel loved. You're taking care of me. I don't need anything more. Just you holding me. Do you want to hold me right now?"
He nods and tucks me to his chest again. "I love you," he whispers against my temple. I smile. "Ahw, I love you too, baby."
He smiles and plays with my hair. "So, you're working on Wednesday?" he asks. I nod against his chest, closing my eyes.
"You know, I have a job too," he tells me. My eyes snap open again. "You do?" He nods, playing with my fingers. "I work at the ice cream shop," he smiles.
Interesting...
"And do you have girlfriend discount?" I giggle. He smirks. "Why don't you come by and figure out yourself?"
I smile and close my eyes again. "You tired?" I nod and he plays with my fingers again.
I fall asleep...

Wednesday
I walk into Miss Elody's room and see her sitting in her chair.
She looks up at me. "Oh, love, I think you're in the wrong room," she sadly smiles. I shake my head and sit down next to her. "I'm working here, and I came to chat a bit," I say.
Her face lights up, and she sits up straight. "Yeah. My name is Willow. How are you today?" I ask. She shrugs. "I'm fine. My grandson isn't coming today, and just now when he has a boyfriend," she sighs.
"Oh, that's not very nice of him. Why didn't he come?" I ask. I realize this poor lady is all alone, looking forward to when her grandson comes.
"He said he had to do things for school," she says. I frown. "The whole day?" She nods. "Which school is he attending too?"
She thinks for a moment. "Pegasus? I think it was Pegasus," she tells me. "Oh? That's where I'm going," I say.
Her eyes widen. "Maybe you know him? He's eighteen." I nod. "And blonde hair, blue eyes," she lists. "And his name..."
"Noah," we both say. My jaw drops. "You're Noah's grandmother?"
She smiles. "The one and only." I giggle. The door opens and I hear a familiar voice.
"Grandma, I'm finally here. Ugh, the teacher of English is a pain in my a-" He stops abruptly when he sees me. "Willow? What..."
He looks at his grandmother. "Grandma? How do you know Willow? And di you just replace me?" He gasps teasingly and she smiles. Ahw, they're really close.
"Noah, meet Willow. She works here, and she knows you from school. Are you popular?" she asks. Noah sits down next to me, still staring at me in shock. "Eh, yeah, maybe?" His grandma chuckles.
"Poor boy is completely confused," she laughs. "Grandma, I know her. She's one of my best friends and the sister of my boyfriend," he tells her.
Her eyes widen. "Really? Ooh, spill the tea," she claps her hands enthusiastically. I frown at him. "One of my best friends? I'm your best friend, thank you very much. Elody, he's the sweetest boy! They're so cuddly at school, it's the cutest."
She squeaks happily. Noah sighs. "Willow, could you stop telling my grandmother I'm cute? She'll plan our wedding," he sighs. I giggle.
Elody grins. "No, I'm planning your wedding with Jack. Tell me about him." Noah smiles when she mentions Jack. "Oh my God, he's so hot! He has this pretty black hair, and the cutest dimples. And his skin is so soft!" he rambles on and on and on.
I'm just cringing because he's saying my brother is hot. He is not.
"But Willow here is the girlfriend of my second best friend," he grins and puts his arms around my shoulder. Elody looks at me, expecting the tea.
I smile. "His name is Dane and he's so cute! He works at the ice cream shop down the road, I'll go by when I'm done. But I have a picture of Noah and Jack, if you want."
I smirk at Noah, who's narrowing his eyes at me. So much for the subject change.
I show her a cute picture of Noah and Jack, from when Jack fell asleep on Noah. She smiles. "Can you print that one for me?" she asks me.
"Of course. I'll give it Sunday, okay?" She nods enthusiastically. Noah sticks out his tongue, but I see Elody smirk. "I have some photos for you too, Willow. Hold on."
She walks to her closet and takes out an album. Noah's eyes widen. "No! Grandma, put it back!" he shouts. Elody just laughs and gives it to me.
Noah sighs. "You are teaming up," he sighs. "Oh, poor baby," I mock. I open it and look at his baby pics. I take photos of them, and with each one his eyes narrow more at me.
I stand up. "Noah, I'll see you at school tomorrow. Elody, see you Sunday!"

ChickLitWillow has just one rule: Must. Always. Hate. Dane. She grew up with Dane Wainsworth, just as her brother. He's her brother's bestfriend. And she hates him. He's annoying, arrogant and way too confident. But that's not what she writes in her diary...
