The first time you noticed it was at a game night. Everyone got together at a rented house for the week and were catching up with each other. You noticed Natasha walking down the Stairs pretty late then what she usually used to. The way she was walking it was clear she had some rib problem but when she got her drink and sat down with nothing showing on her face You decided not to ask her but promised to keep an eye out for her whenever you were around her.
The second time you noticed the signs were when You all were called in for a big important mission, She walked in with Bruce following her. For other it looked fine and completely normal but you noticed Bruce's Hand going back to normal from a green and how Natasha held a feared look in her eyes while not to subtly clutching her arm with the other almost as if it's broken.
The third time you noticed was when Tony invited you all to Party because of Peter's Graduation and she came in with a long sleeve dress that she usually wouldn't have worn. Yet you still didn't went straight to conclusion.
The fourth time you caught up with the signs was in one of another mission where code green was needed. You and your sister were already ready outside with Natasha a little far away when Bruce turned into hulk. You watched as Natasha flinched as Hulk's Hand rose. You didn't show it in your face but you had finally put it all together. And you didn't like it at all. After the mission was complete Natasha was sent to bring Hulk back into Bruce, Alone. You noticed the flash of fear on her face as she agreed and walked out. You also walked out after her saying she might need some company. You caught up with her as she was approaching the Hulk.
He was glaring at her, Ready to attack with his hands raised but as you came into the view as if you hadn't seen it he placed his hands down. You heard Natasha let out a breath of relief as you came beside her. After Bruce came back You 3 walked back to the jet and settle down. Wanda gave you a look seeing your hands intertwine with Natasha for comfort, She knew about you fancying Natasha But alas she was taken. Nat sat back down at her seat beside Bruce as you went across and sat between Vision and Wanda not wanting them to have any talk the whole ride You never had liked Vision with Wanda but Supported your sister when she started dating the Robot.
To others Natasha was this badass Scary powerful Deadly assassin. But to you she was still a normal person who was in a very abusive and dangerous relationship. You wanted to help her but how. She was never alone for you to talk with her. Either she was with some one from the Team or SHIELDS Or she was with Bruce or hulk and that was already Scary enough for you. If Natasha didn't have that small about of super serum in her then she would be dead by now.
One particular night you were in your room at the compound that you shared with Bruce and Natasha only. You had purposely made stark switch the rooms so only Your and Bruce's and Natasha's shared room were on the floor. To save Natasha but also be there quickly when something you feared the most. Everyone on the compounded thought you were out of town but you had just returned through the window. It was about 1 in the morning when you heard noises from the room across the hall. Nat and Bruce's Shared room. The floor might be soundproof to other floors but the room had to manually be silenced but seems like they forgot or Hulk didn't know.
After a loud crash from the room you didn't waste time to pull on a shirt and grab your tranquillizer dart gun and run towards the room with full force using your powers and breaking down the door of the room. The scene was horrifying to anyone. You might have fought aliens, Gods, Evil Robots and even a alien titan who wanted to kill half the world but nothing made you as sick and scared as this did.
Inside the room was Mess of what couldn't even be called a Avenger's room and a angry green hulk standing in front of a scared Natasha Romanoff. None of them noticed that you were there already. Without another thought You shot the dart at hulk as he raised his hands at her to hit again. Watching as he falls down turning back into Bruce you placed cuffs on him and rushed to Natasha. She was bleeding badly from many wounds and injuries. One of her eye was turning Black, Side of her head was bleeding being cut by something, Her mouth was bloody, Her hair was all messed up and she clearly had bout 4 broken ribs and one broken arm. This time seemed to be the rough one out of all. She has many more injury that topped all in the past and couldn't healed by her serum in a day.
When you got close to Natasha she flinched still thinking you were Bruce/Hulk. Your heart broke seeing her like this. She was still in the trance and she was scared, You had never seen her so scared in your whole time that you had known her so this was truly a sight you never thought or wished you would be seeing. Carefully you placed all your weapon in your hand down and walked back a step. Raising your hands up to your shoulder to show her you were harmless but also not to trigger her by raising your hand too high.
"Nat.... It's Me. Y/n. It's all okay Tash. He is down. I got you" You softly spoke. She slowly looked at you in the eyes and you saw her coming back to reality. You didn't get to do anything as she threw herself at you and completely broke down in your chest. She was smaller than you so you were able to easily pick her up and carry her out the room. You carefully walked towards your room opening door with your foot and walking in. All while she was till breaking down on you. Blood and tears were staining your shirt but you didn't care at the moment. all that was important was to help Natasha and be there for her.
A while later when her crying came down you softly pulled away from the hug and took a good look at her face. She was mumbling something to herself over and over but you couldn't really understand what she was saying. "Nat. Nat... Please look at me sweets" You gently cupped her face and made her look at you. She looks deeply in your eyes that matched your sister and your brother. She slowly stopped mumbling and just looked at you. "Hey..." You softly whispered afraid to scare her. She didn't respond back instead clutching her ribs that you had guessed were broken or at least cracked.
"Ah-Fu-" Natasha wanted to curse but the pain was too much for her she only groaned. Her voice was weak and horse. "Can I help you take care of these?" You asked pointing at her wounds and injury. She hesitantly nodded and you sadly picked her up as gently as you could and took her to your privet elevator courtesy of designing the compound with stark. You took the elevator straight to the med bay so you could have zero interaction with anyone. Thankfully the Med bay was empty except for your favorite Doctor Cho.
"Cho we need help here." You called out while putting Natasha in one of the beds. Cho placed whatever she was doing on hold and walked more like ran over to you gasping at a barely awake Natasha. "She's about to pass out" She informed you and you looked back at Natasha. Cho took out a sedate handing it to you because she knew Natasha wouldn't like it of it was her giving it to her. After you had sedated Natasha you stood back as Cho worked her magic on Natasha. Fixing her ribs and placing her arm in a sling and stitching and bandaging up the wounds.
After that was all done she gave you some - Many- Medications for Natasha and also advised you to call in a Therapist for Nat. Cho was also the other person who caught up with what was happening so you both were on edge for something like this to happen. She left you both alone retreating back to her office to do the work she was doing. You quickly left to drag Bruce to the cells and double lock him in there. After that you went back into the mess of the room and went to the messed up closet to find something for Natasha to wear. Finding nothing you walked back to your room and got her your oversized hoodie along with some training shorts and walked back to the bay. Placing the clothing on the table you relaxed back in your chair and decided to rest your eyes a little bit. Which ended up in you falling asleep and Cho finding you like that. She placed a spare blanket over you knowing you won't be leaving and wrote you a note then walking out closing the door behind her.
