Chapter 17

Around 4 in the morning, Erwin started shivering again, waking (y/n) up.
"Wake up, Erwin. You're getting hot again." She said in a worried voice, then got up and dressed quickly.
"You shouldn't have slept like that." She said, while helping him wear his clothes.
She made him cold compresses for the second time and sat beside him.
"I don't regret it." He said, smiling at her tiredly.
"This wasn't how I was planning to wake up." She said.
"Haha. I'm sorry. I would have made breakfast in bed." He said, holding her hands.
She was concerned about him while he was so relaxed.
"Please don't go to work tomorrow."
"If you stayed with me, I won't go."
"I can't, it would be so weird."
"Why?"
"Eren told them that there was a woman with you, his father told him."
"Haha, so you all were gossiping about me?"
She shrugged and laughed.
"I don't care if they know now. They'll know eventually." He told her and kissed her hand.
"It will be so weird, omg" she laughed.
"We will get used to it."
"Fine, I'll stay."
He smiled at her.
"I need to use the bathroom." He said.
"Ok, I'll make you something to drink."

She went to the kitchen and put the water to boil. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply, thinking of last night. She still could feel Erwin's touches and kisses. She was lost in her thoughts till Erwin came and hugged her from her back.
"You should be resting." she said, smiling.
"I am." He leaned his head against hers.
She turned around and hugged him tightly, then she prepared his drink.
"Come on, let's go inside."

She went to the bathroom quickly to pee, brush her teeth, and wash her face. Her smile didn't leave her.
She sat beside Erwin in bed.
"How do you feel?" He asked her, taking a sip.
"Never been better." She smiled shyly and he smiled back. "It just.. feels right, you know?"
"I'm happy to hear that." He paused for a moment then said: "Did I make you feel good?" He winked.
"Stop it" she laughed and hid her face with her hands which made Erwin laugh.
"You did make me feel good." He continued teasing her. Her face turned tomato red.
"Are you enjoying this?"
"Yes, I am" he laughed and she kept avoiding his gaze.

He finished his drink and (y/n) measured his temperature, it was almost back to normal.
"Can I ask you something?" (Y/n) said while adjusting herself in his arms. She was laying on her left side, on Erwin's right hand, leaning on his body, her head at his neck's level.
"Sure"
"When I told you are like a Greek god.."
"Mmmmm?"
"Why did you say you're not?"
He laughed a little.
"Greek gods have perfect bodies, yes.. but you know, they are small down there."
"Why?"
"Because this represents they're not taken by their lust."
"Aha, but Zues is a womaniser though."
"Haha, yeah."
Erwin was caressing her hair with his left hand.
"Your hair is beautiful." He said and she smiled.
"Erwin"
"Mmm?"
"I'm happy."
"Me, too."

She took his hand and kissed his palm. They enjoyed these peaceful moments for a while. Then they fell asleep.

It was almost 7 in the morning then. (Y/n) got up and took a shower. 'I need to go home and get more clothes. Those are my last pair of underwear and bra.' she thought while getting dressed.
Then she went to the kitchen to make breakfast. She made boiled potatoes and eggs, then she put them on a fry pan with some melted butter. She squeezed orange juice and made the table ready. She also put food to the cats. Then she went to wake Erwin up.
"Rise and shine." She said, sitting by his side on bed.
He opened his eyes, yawning and stretching.
"Good morning, love." He said and kissed her hand.
"Good morning."
(Y/n) was feeling light as a feather, so happy.
"Come on, breakfast is ready." She told him.
He got up and went to the bathroom, took a quick shower, then followed (y/n).
He started eating and said: "wow, (y/n)! You're cooking is amazing."
She laughed modestly and said: "glad you like it."

They finished eating and Erwin called Mike to tell him he wasn't coming today. And (y/n) did the same with Nanaba.
"This is so embarrassing." (Y/n) again.
Erwin hugged her and said: "Are you embarrassed of me?"
"What? Of course not. I meant me and you, and them. You know?"
"You're cute." he said, laughing.
"I need to go to my apartment."
"Why?"
"To get clothes."
"Wash what you have here."
"Why haven't I thought of that?"
"Because I'm a genius baby." He said and winked.
"Ok genius, did you take your meds?"
"I did ma'am." He said and carried her bridal style and walked to the bedroom. He put her gently on the bed and started tickling her.
"Omg.. hahahaha.. Erwin.. Stop!"
Surprisingly, when she said stop, he did stop.
She caught her breath and said looking in his eyes: "I love you."
He smiled and kissed her, moving his hand south towards her womanhood and started teasing it, not breaking their kiss.
But his mobile phone rang.
"You probably should answer, maybe it's the office." (Y/n) said, breaking the kiss, and a little disappointed.
Erwin sighed and answered the call.
