Or perhaps she just could not bring herself to love,
He was as fragile as the light of a candle,
And she was so cautious she had to take everything with a glove,
He was broken but innocent and dainty,
She was broken and lost faith in humanity,
A crazy match for some,
As if they had any idea of the outcome
