Chapter fourteen

Celia

The day of the second task has come and since I have talked to Draco I introduced myself again to my friend group and it was fine again, but that day they all just disappeared.

"Perhaps they're mad at me", I thought while waiting for a boat to get me to one of the towers to watch the champions.

It was a very cold day and I was wearing just a black tight dress with see-through black thin tights. I was freezing but the only jacket I had was one that I didn't like. I was irresponsible, but it wouldn't have made it better. It was all Mariana's fault because she forbade me to wear jeans or any other kind of pants.

"Freezing, Cecilia?" Pansy asked.

I just ignored her. I didn't like Dracos friends and they didn't like me either which was fine. It was still embarrassing to get caught by them standing alone.

"Malfoy, you're girlfriend isn't very rude" she yelled to him while he went with his friends Crabbe and Goyle to us.

Draco ignored her as well and pissed off she sat down on the boat with Crabbe and Goyle. Luckily the next boat arrived only one minute later and Draco and I sat down.

"Did you tell her?" I asked him.

"No, of course not, but they may have realised it" Draco answered.

"Just don't tell them, maybe one day they'll forget it" he added.

After the champions were already in the water everyone started to talk again, it was quite boring.

"You alright?" Draco asked.

"Yes, it's just a bit cold, but it's fine" I replied.

"Can I do something?" he asked worriedly.

"No, I'm fine" I replied.

"If you say so"

We were standing there while Draco was chatting with his friends. It was awkward and boring at once, but luckily Cedric Diggory finally appeared at the surface with Cho Chang. It was amusing again. I was watching them as Draco took his jacket off.

"Take it you're freezing" he said while he gave me his jacket.

"No, it's my fault that I'm freezing. It's your jacket, keep it" I replied.

"Celia, you're shaking, now put it on before you die" he said.

"Fine" I took his jacket and I put it on.

"How is it possible that it is too big even though we have the same height" I said.

"It looks like we are dating" he whispered in my ears.

"I knew it. You are abusing that I'm freezing" I said annoyed. Draco just replied with a laugh.

As I looked back at Cedric I could see Viktor Krum with Hermione Granger. Now I knew where she was. Only a few minutes later Harry appeared with not only one person, but he also appeared with two, Ron Weasley and Gabrielle Delacour, The little sister from the champion from the Beauxbatons Academy of magic.

"Looks like you're the unnecessary friend" Pansy teased. I gave her a mad look.

"I would overthink who the unnecessary friend is, cause as far as I remember had Draco cancelled the Yuleball with you to go with me" I started to overthink this sentence. I was an introvert for a reason.

"A little Impertinent today" Pansy responded.

I ignored it, because if I wouldn't the argument would go on until my death. Just as I ended the argument with Pansy I could hear that Harry got second place instead of the last. Draco was furious. He took me with him back to dry land, while Pansy, Crabbe, and Goyle followed him up.

"I'm waiting here for my friends. Do you want your jacket back?" I asked.

"No, just give it to me when you're back in the castle" he responded.

"Alright, see you" I responded.

Draco said goodbye with a look and turned around towards Hogwarts. A few minutes later Harry, Hermione, and Ron appeared. I congratulated Harry and we all walked back together to the castle.

"Hey, isn't that Dracos jacket?" Hermione asked.

"Yeah, it is, he forced me to wear it, cause I was freezing" I answered.

"Does it smell like rich, blonde, pureblood ferret?" Ron asked laughing.

"It does and I'm getting sick of this smell. He has had the same scent for 14 years now, I guess. It feels weird to wear it. It's like we are dating" they were laughing because they couldn't have imagined Me with Draco.

"You and Draco could be everything, but not a couple" Harry said.

"Yeah, exceptionally because Celia is in love with you" Ron said laughing.

I was smiling before Ron said that. My smile faded immediately and I walked faster away. It was embarrassing and hurtful. I hated myself for loving him, but I wasn't able to change anything. I heard steps behind me. A stick cracked, just like someone stepped on it.

"Don't you think we should talk?" Harry asked right behind me.

"No" I turned around.

"You know that I like you and I know that you don't feel the same way, because you like Cho" I reminded him.

"I'm just mad because I'm trying everything that I can to not love you and for a few minutes it just felt like we were just friends" I looked away. I was embarrassed and overwhelmed by my feelings.

"But who said that I don't love you back?" I was confused. It was obvious that he loved Cho.

"What?" I asked confused. I wasn't able to say anything else.

"As I found out that you like me I was in love with Cho but everything changed" He looked at my confused face.

"What do you mean?" I asked still confused. I couldn't realise that he liked me the same way I did.

"What I mean is that I love you, not Cho"

I almost had a heart attack. I knew it was a dream. It has had to be. I still couldn't realise it. I didn't answer him. Harry realised that I was confused and Overwhelmed. He pressed his lips on mine and only a few seconds later I returned the kiss.
