The rest of the week went by in a blur. Dylan got detention for the week and Gerard got suspended for the week. It was now Friday at lunch. Tonight I'm going on a date with Dylan. So, yesterday Georgie and Kiera took me shopping for new clothes and they were coming over today for a sleepover and help me get ready.

"Kitten, you ok? You zoned out." Adam asked from beside me.

"Uh yeah. Just thinking about tonight."

Did I forget to mention that I now sit with Adam a lunch? It's crazy. Georgie and Kiera also sat at the table. It included us four, Eros and some other jocks. A couple other girls who we didn't talk to.

"What's tonight?" Adam questioned.

"I have a date." I whispered, I did not want Eros to find out.

"My little Kitten is going on her first date? Get my camera!" He gushed in a high pitch voice.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"So who's the lucky guy?" Adam questioned, as he put his head on top of mine. Did I mention I'm really short and he's really tall.

"Dylan Harter."

"Hey, Eros."

"Yeah?" He looked up from his food.

"We have to go beat up Dylan Harter." Adam informed him.

"No, don't do that!!" I interjected, but they just ignored me.

"Why do we have to beat up Dylan?" Eros asked.

"He's taking our little Persie on a date!" He squeezed my cheeks.

"What?!" Eros yelled jumping up.

"Eros, sit down!" I hissed as I saw many heads then towards our table that was located in the centre.

"Where is that little idiot?" Eros asked as he scanned the cafeteria.

"Eros, sit down." I demanded.

He finally listened and plopped down, pouting.

"He didn't ask for my permission." He grumbled.

"That's because you're my brother." I shot back. "Besides it's only a date."

"Yeah, but you're so young and innocent." Eros pointed out.

"I'm in grade 12." I defended.

"And this is your first date." He had me there.

"So are we beating up Dylan or what?" Adam asked.

"No, no one touches him!" I warned. "Got it?"

They mumbled a yes before pouting and finishing their food.

"Hey, Persephone!" Dylan smiled as he slid into the desk next to me.

"Hey Dylan." I smile back, putting my book down, sadly. It seems like I read less and less nowadays.

"Are you excited for tonight?" He asked.

"What's tonight?" I joked.

"You forgot? We have a date!" He seemed shocked.

"No, I was joking! I remembered. And yes I'm excited."

"Oh." The tips of his ears went red in embarrassment.

I laughed and faced the front of the class as the teacher walked in.

"I can't believe my little peanut is growing up!" Georgie faked cried as I drove her and Kiera to my place.
