"HE DID WHAT?!" Georgie screeched into the phone. "Eros interrupted you and Dylan right as you were about to kiss?" She asked in shock.
"Yeah, but he kissed my cheek!" I chirped, happily. "It was an amazing date. He was so romantic."
"You are so lucky," Georgie sighed. I could just imagine her hanging her head off of the bed. "I need a man."
"What about Darren? You went to the carnival with him." I asked, going through my collection of books.
"I don't know," She sighed. "He keeps ignoring me and I haven't even talked to him since he kissed me on the Ferris wheel."
"And guys say girls are confusing." I mumbled under my breath.
"What?" Georgie asked. "Nothing. I have to go get ready for tonight. Eros' girlfriend is coming over."
"Ok, call me later. Bye bye girly." She chirped, hanging up the phone.
I threw my phone onto my bed and walked down the hallway to the bathroom. "Eros, WAKE UP!!" I screamed into his room as I passed by. Since it was Saturday I knew he wouldn't be up before 3 pm.
"What time is it?" He asked, stumbling into the hallway. His hair was sticking up in every direction and was only in his boxers.
"2:30 pm. Mia is coming at 4, right?" I asked. As soon as I said Mia, Eros perked up and had a smile on his face.
"Yeah! I got to get ready!" He said enthusiastically, running into the washroom.
"Hey! I was going to shower!" I screamed through the door, but he didn't hear me as he hummed a happy tune.
An hour later I was showered and dressed. "Is everything perfect?" Eros asked nervously as I walked into the living room, plopping down on the couch.
"Yeah, calm down. Eros, everything is going to be perfect. Ok?" I said, standing up to hug my nervous older brother.
"Where's mom?" He suddenly panicked. I found it adorable that he was so worried for his girlfriend.
"Getting ready. Her shift only ended at 3." I explained and right on cue our mother walked out.
"Is the food in the oven?" Mom asked Eros as she fixed his hair, as it was messed up from him running his fingers through it nervously.
"Yeah, I made it and it's cooking now." He explained, pacing back and forth.
"Honey, calm down." Our mom instructed to Eros. "Being nervous won't help you anything."
"But it's Mia. She's perfect so I want everything to be perfect." He sighed, sitting down on the coffee table.
My mom and I both gushed at how cute Eros was being. "Shut up." He demanded as the doorbell rang. He jumped up and straightened out his already straight clothes. Eros basically ran to the door and yanked it open.
"Mia!" He said, happily. "Eros!" The girl said back, hugging him. "Mom, Persephone, this is Mia. My girlfriend." Eros introduced after they pulled apart. "Mia, this is my mom and my sister, Persephone."
"It's great to meet you. Eros talks about you a lot." I greeted Mia who blushed along with Eros.
"Hi." She timidly said.
"Come on in." My mom said, gesturing for us to go into the living room. "You are even prettier than Eros described."
Mia looked down and blushed even more. "Mom!" Eros whined, holding Mia's hand. I tried my best not to coo at their cuteness.
