"I like lunch, its quiet, controlled, peaceful," Kara said between bites of her sandwich

"I bet it is," I responded and took a sip of the soup I had gotten. It was exactly the opposite of that although, a forced silence by officals, creatures eating quickly with incorrect manners. Jake, who was shoving food down his throat as fast as possible, was one of the most polite people in the room.

"They stress eat, you know that right?" Oasis spoke up.

"Stress eating?"

"This place, it gets to you. Wears you down. Some of us have lost people to insanity from the stress. Most of them just eat and hope it fixes something."

Possible answer.

I looked around, and smiled a little when I saw somebody I recognized. You're probably thinking, how would you recognize someone in this sea of strangers? Well I guess its not complete recognition, but it's close.

A few tables away sat a boy, smiling in a green little outfit, holding hands with a girl. They were laughing and smiling at a joke made by a boy similar to the girl. A little fairy jumped along the table, laughing along. Peter Pan I assume. That was always my favorite story.

Little did I recognize it at the time.

The boy, we'll call him Peter, he wasn't smiling completely. Later on all of his friends sitting around him, would be dead and gone. He witnessed their deaths. He was the angel that came down to take their lives. They were only victims of his massacre. He survives, but not for long.

But that'll came later on, when almost everyone is gone.

"Lily, it's time to go," Kara said, what felt like seconds later. I had gone off into a trance for ten minutes, and had yet to finish my soup. Normally I would've stayed and finished, but Kevin and Henery stood there looking upon my finish.

Kevin was out of his clappy and all excited mood from earlier. He now stood, stone cold and showed little emotion.

I got up, and soon enough we left the room. We were brought back to the cellar of a home we had. Kevin and Henery hardly spoke, and left without a word.

"Now what?" I asked, looking to Kara.

"We get an hour to socialize, then we have lessons with a teacher. We may be stuck here, but they atleast want us to get an education."

"I see, it sure would be a shame to die only knowing simple equations and bland literature"

"Somebody's a smart little cookie," mumbled Jake from across the room. He was staring at the floor, sitting in his cot.

"Hope that big head of yours won't weigh you down," he said a bit louder.

"Jake, apologize." Kara said firmly.

"I'm just a realist, there's nothing to apologize about"

"You insulted her"

"I will not apologize for the truth. You all need to get some sense in your little heads before your life is torn from you," Jake said, anger getting more and more apparent as the sentence went on.

"Calm down Jake, seriously," Oasis remarked.

"You have no right Oasis. After what you did, you have no right," Jakes tone moved from anger to sadness, and a tear threatened to slip across Jakes cheek.

Oasis just shrugged and started talking to Ash about some tattoo business.

All I want to know is what happened here?
