"And thats why you are here," Kevin said with a smile, that was full of sick sympathy.
"What? Ok, I don't exactly see how I'm involved with this...." I almost whispered my words, a little afraid to ask what he meant.
"Lily, do you know who you truly are?" What's that supposed to mean? I know who I am, or was. Kevin looked at me and this time to sympathy was gone. It was just a look of somewhat pure greed.
"Lily, you are the ancestor of a girl, someone I hope you know."
He took a long breath, creating a dramatic sense.
"You, Lily, are the ancestor of Little Red Riding Hood. She also happened to be the princes favorite."
AUTHORS NOTE-So yes, this is a really small chapter. I kinda felt like a cliffhanger was due any time! Now I'm sworn to secrecy not to tell what happens next.....
