Silence.

There is no sound. There is no wind. There is no smell. No light or touch. There isn't anything around. Dark and empty. It's as cold as ice, yet there is nothing there. Freezing like a breeze after a shower, yet there has been no rain. There is no sun for him to see or feel. No sun to gather energy from.

Just nothing.

He can't move, forever frozen in that position. Hand outstretched, reaching for Blue. His sockets are wide open, yet see nothing but darkness. The only thing he knows he can feel is his tears falling. Tracing his face so gently, almost forgetting the tears are there. He can't remember anything. Not his name, not why he's there, not why he feels so tired. He just wants Blue and Ink to come to save him, his knights in shining armor.

But no one comes.

It's cold and tiring. He can feel himself grow tired of standing for so long. Rest sounds nice. Yet he remains fixed in one position, still for what has felt like years now. There is no room to move, no light to see, nothing to hear. He wants out of this place.

Something happens.

Suddenly, something is touching his arm. What is that? Someone is there, who is it? Before he can question anything, bright searing hot pain burns his arm. How he wishes to scream in pain, yet nothing can leave his mouth. He feels his humerus snap, the edges grinding against each other. Creating smaller fragments of bone before feeling his magic holding the bones to each other rip. Each tendon of magic stretches thin before snapping. His tears fall faster as he screams in silent pain. How much he wants to fall to his knees and curl into a ball as he feels his magic give, the hard shell of stone cracking before snapping in half. He takes silent gulps of air as what is left of his arm throbs with pain, pulsing in agony.

No blood spills, only he can feel everything. To others, it's solid stone. He tries to cry out once more for Blue, but nothing comes out. But everything is still, once more. No sound, no touch, no light, nothing once more but the pain in his arm. He cries, he wants to move. Leave this place and go home to Blue, his roommate, and best friend. Yet, another touch to the back of his neck makes him want to shake his head. To plead to let him go. To scream and sob if he could. To run and fight, if he could.

Nothing happens, at first.

Then, he doesn't feel anything. Nothing below his neck, nothing above his shoulders. Just, nothing as he slowly crumbles away.
