"I didn't know, people wanted the Champion to attend their wedding." Leon mumbles as he holds still while I tie an elegant three folded knot with his gold tie. "Have you ever been to a wedding?" he questions as I make the last fold, "Mmhm, a few of them." I smile, securing the knot. "I didn't know the Poké Queen was so popular!" He gasps, I laugh at his amazed expression, "Three of them were my father's, he had four wives." I snort folding down the tabs of his collar. I feel Leon cringe at the mention, "But there were a few I really enjoyed, beautiful in ways weddings should be." I smile softly, brushing my hands over his shoulder to wipe away the imaginary dust.
"Are you sure you're okay being my date? There's going to be some publicity there." He mumbles looking down on me with soft eyes. "The chairman has already made plans for it, he sent emails to all the publicity agencies with my picture and a short explanation of my employment to you." I inform, looking over the black button up and slacks. I pull the satin black vest off my arm and hold it open for him, Leon turns and slips his arms through, I push it up to his shoulders before he turns around. "Would you still have agreed if he didn't?" He questions softly as I button the buttions of the vest, "Of course." I muse looking up at him as I button the last button. Pink dusts over Leon's face as his golden eyes sparkle. I reach up amd straighten his signature snapback before deeming him done.
I turn and look myself over in the bathroom mirror, the dress I wear slightly matching Leon's suit. The snugly fit black sundress is patterned with roses outlined in gold, occasionally one rose will be filled in leaving the black to outline it instead. My eyes move up to my makeup, eyes contoured smoothly with a touch of gold to give it a shine while my lips are tinted with a light red. My ears don simple gold dangle earrings, the long plates of gold only reach an inch with three hanging from each ear. The necklace I wear is gold as well, a chain where roses decorate the front with leaves separating the roses from each other. My hair is simple, curled and down with two braided strands holding it all back.
"I think you look beautiful," Leon mumbles, "Thank you," I giggle. "We should get going, it's rude to be late to a wedding," I smirk, Leon's eyes sparkle but he doesn't say anything. Only following me out of the bathroom, Leon grabs our things as I put my shoes on at the door. Leon gets there before I can slip on my last gold glittering heel, I'm shocked to see him kneel and hold the shoe out for me to slip on. Nevertheless, I place my hand on his shoulder and slip my foot into my shoe. "Thank you Lee." I smile, Leon's cheeks flush.
He stands and his chest is all but touching mine, "You really are beautiful you know." He whispers. I force myself not to lick my lips, I didn't want to ruin my lipstick because Leon is getting cheeky ideas. Come on! Pull yourself together, we can get there on time if you can out play him. I place my hand on his chest, looking up I tilt my head to the side with gentle eyes, Leon tensing up at my expression. "Come on Lee, we can't be late." I call softly, I watch him nod mutely. Face now flushed red, but willing. Leon opens the door for me and I take the first step out of his apartment with a relieved sigh.
A flying taxi stood waiting for us, ever so carefully I step into the metal box of doom, Leon right behind me. The taxi has a rocky start, one that has me gripping Leon's hand in fear of plummeting, however he held mine back just as tight. We manage to make it to Turffeild in one piece, thank the Pokémon god above. The ceremony takes place out in the middle of a golden field at sundown, however the sun is just about to set and Leon and I have to figure out which field it's happening in.
The thought of being late is something I will not entertain, so I pull Leon by his hand asking for directions and dodging large crowds of fans while looking for the field. By some miracle Leon spots a group of well dressed people heading out to the fields, we quickly catch up and ask if they were heading to the wedding as well. It took a few minutes to get it out of them given that they were so star struck by Leon, but they eventually agreed that they were in fact going to the same wedding we were.
