Before Magnolia stepped out to see the battle she showed me to a small desk and carefully instructed me on how to write an indorsement. I wrote my letter carefully, using my finest penmanship, one that really says the Poké Queen has endorsed me. After I write it out neatly I sign my name, before folding it up and using wax to stamp it shut.

I tuck the letter under my arm before making my way outside, where the two kids are mid battle. It seems the two have caught some new Pokémon on the way to the house, I watch the two go head to head. But in the end, Gloria won, if she can make it through the gym leaders she's going to give Leon a run for his title.

"Alright, since you too leave me no choice—" Leon starts, "I'll stop you right there Champion," I cut in with a grin. Leon looks startled as I step up beside him, "Since I was so kindly informed I am able to endorse. I took the opportunity to not only exercise my privileges but to spite Leon as well, so now I henceforth offer my letter of endorsement to you, Gloria." I smile. The little brunette girl lights up as I hand her the letter, "I hope to see you kick his ass dearest." I grin wickedly. "Language." Leon grumbles, "Right! Well sorry to steal your thunder Lee, you may continue." I grin away. Leon shot me a half hearted smile before going on to give Hop his letter of endorsement.

Leon then goes on to give a little advice from what he saw from their battle, I smile watching as Hop soaks it up, but then I turn to Gloria who watches Leon intensely. The gaze seems so familiar but I just can't put my finger on it, I'm pulled away from my thoughts by Hop who approaches me. His hands behind his head as he looks off in another direction, "Thanks." He mumbles with pink cheeks, "For convincin' Lee for us, for me, since you endorsed Gloria." He continues. "Your very welcome Hop, just remember it's not that your brother doesn't have any faith in you, it's just that he's worried you know?" I offer with a smile. "Yeah," He sighs out, "I know." He grumbles.

I jump as a crack comes from the sky, a red star comes shooting down and lands not too far from us. The two kids rush over to see what it is, but Leon just smiles and mutters something about a wishing star. If I recall correctly didn't Sonia say my earrings are made out of wishing stars. Is that a thing here in Galar? Stars shooting out of the sky at random?

I turn away from them to look over the water as the sunset sets, but I catch sight of Sonia coming over the bridge. I walk away from the group to meet her halfway, "Looks like I came home at a good time," She giggles. "Yeah, I should have been here before when I ripped into Leon." I snort, "For what?" She laughs, "Apparently I didn't know I could endorse trainers as an employee of the Pokémon league." I huff crossing my arms. "You mean you didn't know? And Lee didn't tell you?" She gasps but a grin spreads across her face, "Your Grandmother  told me. Well made it known to me I could, Leon just explained why." I answer.

"Then we got into it about endorsing the kids, and I managed to convince him to at least let them try. But after I found out I can endorse someone I decided to endorse Gloria while Leon endorsed Hop." I recall shortly, Sonia snorts, "Ya sound like a married couple already." She giggles. I scoff and roll my eyes, "Hey you lot! It's getting pretty late, how about some dinner?" Sonia calls as we approach the group. "I've been totally obsessed with making the trendiest curries recently." Sonia giggles, "You wouldn't happen to have some baking ingredients would you? I can make some Poképuffs while we're at it?" I grin. Sonia gasps, "You SOO have to teach me, Leon says he's Charizard won't let go of you because of those." She gushes, "Sure Sonia," I laugh in return.

After that Sonia and I took over the kitchen, Sonia struggling to keep up with her floating Rotom who displayed her recipe while I danced around her to make sure my Poképuffs came out alright. In the end dinner was nothing short of perfect, everyone loved the Poképuffs and Sonia's curry is to die for. Charizard even went so far to force himself out of his pokéball when the Poképuffs were done, Lucky for him I made one just for him.

After dinner The Professor offered us to stay but tomorrow was Leon's last day of vacation and we had to get back before the Gym Challenge opening ceremony the next day. So much to my utter despair Leon ordered a flying Taxi because all the trains were closed down for the night. I waved goodbye to Hop and received a very surprising hug from Gloria when the taxi arrived.

I had fallen asleep on the ride over to Wyndon, Leon somehow got me out of the Taxi and into his apartment. I only wake up when he's laying me out on the bed, "Did you have a good vacation?" I mumble as he climbs into bed with me. "I did, and you?" He chuckles, "The best." I chime, "So far." He adds with a smirk. "I'm sorry I snapped on you earlier," I mumble, "About what?" He questions running fingers over my arm. "The endorsement, I guess, and the whole Gym Challenge." I mumble.

"Why did you get so upset?" He questions, "I guess because my dad was always so adamant about me being a Pokéstar and not a trainer. I mean I don't regret it all that much, but I also wasn't given much of a choice. And I saw the way Hop looked when he begged you, Lee, you can't protect him forever." I whisper. Leon remains quiet, "I know that, and it scares me." He whispers back. "My dad wasn't there to protect me, so when Hop came along that responsibility fell to me. I can't help it sometimes, but that doesn't excuse the fact I'm constantly stopping him from branching out into the world." He confesses.

"He's a smart boy Leon, a little reckless, but smart. Not to mention he has Gloria going along with him, and the fact he isn't afraid to come to you when he needs someone to talk to is also a good reason not to worry." I list off soothingly, "He worries about you too, you know. When we stayed with your mom he gave me a talk about how I better not be some fame chasing whore." I snort. Leon shot up from the bed, "He said that?" He gasps, "No but that's pretty much what it meant." I laugh. Leon huffs and falls back onto the bed.

"He likes you though," Leon smiles, "So does my mom." He chuckles, "A little too much apparently. Did you know she planned that whole bathroom thing?" I laugh. Leon's eyebrows rose up in shock, "Yeah, earlier that day she made a cheeky comment about reminding you that children come after marriage. Then come to find out the next morning, she left my clothes at our door with a note that apologized for the embarrassment and hopefully that night made up for it." I ramble with a laugh. Leon let's out an embarrassed groan as he pushes his face into his pillow, "You wanna know what she said the next morning?" I question. "No," Leon grumbles, "She's glad you're good at something other than battling." I answer anyway.

I crackle as Leon's cheeks flare in embarrassment, "I can not believe she did that," She grumbles. "I know! I love your mom," I giggle, Leon paused in grumbling to look over at me, a soft expression washing over his face. "How did I get so lucky huh? Most girls would have been freaked out by that." He hums, "Yeah well most girls don't have absent families." I mock. "Can I ask you something?" I question turning over and facing him, Leon hums in return, closing his eyes when I run my fingers through his hair. "You said your dream was to make Galar strong, how come I didn't know that?" I whisper, Leon's champion gold eyes open to look at me, "I want to help achieve your dream first, so I didn't want to bother you with it." He answers softly.

"Lee," I whisper weakly, "I don't care if we're trying to achieve my dream or your dream or hell, even Arceus's dream! I want to know all about your dreams regardless of what we're trying to achieve at that very moment." I huff. Leon lets out a small laugh, "And I swear Lee, once we get The Chairman out of the picture I'll help you achieve yours no matter what it takes," I declare. "I love you, you know that?" He hums, "And I love you too." I huff, pressing a kiss to his forehead.
