"You really weren't kidding when you said the first thing in the morning," I huff, crossing my arms, watching as Leon stuffs his face with food. Leon shrugs, "Like you have anything better to do. You'll be taking time off the same time I do." He grins, "True." I mumble. "Besides, it gave me time to send notices to all the other gym leaders about their sudden new ability to relax." I snort scrolling through my emails, many of them long thank you letters from said gym leaders when I told them about the sudden change to their contract.

Leon laughs, "I'm pretty sure Nessa is taking a vacation too, said something about spending it at a lake." I muse. "Probably West lake Axewell, If I had to guess Dapple Grove." Leon pipes up, I blink and look at him shocked, Leon look's back at me confused. "Nessa trains there a lot, says the water is deeper on that end." He hums, I shake my head with a smile, "Do you know where every Gym Leader trains?" I joke, "Yep." He agrees completely serious.

"Huh," I quip before looking back down at my emails, "When do you think we should leave?" I question. "As soon as possible." He answers standing from his seat, My eyes widen, "Lee! I haven't even packed a bag!" I squeak as he slaps money down on the table. "Well you better get packing then." He grins, "Leon!" I shriek as he takes me by my hand to pull me along.

I let out a huff as I stuff another one of my bags into the overhead of the train cart, "I got it." Lee chimes coming up from behind me and pushing the bag the rest of the way in. "Did you really have to bring all this stuff?" He mumbles looking down at yet another bag, "Did really bring nothing at all?" I snap in return looking at his one bag. "I have everything I need." He pouts, "Uh huh," I grunt, reaching for my last bag.

"I guess people camp differently in Kalos," Leon mumbles, "We do, unlike the people of Galar we have to carry all our supplies. It must be nice to have a fancy Rotom phone who can just zap out everything they need." I huff as I push my bag into the already full compartment. "And people say people from Kalos are tech savvy." I hiss giving my bag one last push before the compartment snaps shut, "You know you could have just told me and I would have just zapped your bags into my storage." he mocks, "You're only saying that now because you're a sadist who prefers to watch me struggle first." I scoff.

Leon rolls his eyes, "You're just stubborn," He muses, I ignore his teasing smirk as I sit down in the train seat. Thankful that we're not taking a flying taxi, "What all did you pack anyway?" He mumbles looking at the compartment then his bag. "The first bag is a fold out kitchen, the gym leader of Lumanos City is an inverter who came up with it when he was traveling on his journey. The second one is my tent with a week's worth of food packed inside. The last one is my personal items," I list out.

Leon blinks at me, "How did you pack all that in an hour?" He gaps. "I had sent some of my stuff over from Kalos before I came to Galar. Most of it had been in storage up until now, still packed from the move, all I had to do was grab it." I shrug, "You didn't have to bring a tent, we could have just slept in mine." He mumbles leaning in close.
