♛Birth of the Royal twins♛

     

   21st June of 1982

           The British Royal Family has only gotten even more better and beloved since the fairytale wedding of Lady Diana Spencer now known to the world as Princess Diana, Princess of Wales and her husband Prince Charles, Prince of Wales. One year had past since the couple had gotten married and nearly 27 weeks ago the couple announced they were expecting their first child. The world was excited to see what the new royal baby would look like, what the gender would be, and what name they would be given. Fans of the now famous Princess Diana have been making bets and many are speculating that if it's a girl the top names are Elizabeth, Victoria, or Alexandra with the top boy's name being Albert, Fredrick, William, and Arthur. Fans also wondered when she would give birth and how the royal family was feeling as this child could also be the future heir to the throne, if it was a boy that is. 

    Diana had been rushed to St. Mary's hospital to give birth with Charles right next to her. The couple had been mostly lost in their thoughts since they had found out they were having twin children. Diana was worried because this would be her first child and now their was a second one too, she wondered what they would look like, she worried if she could care and love the twins equally, and wondered what her new family would think of twin royals. Charles was lost in thought wondering if his newly found out twins were boys or girls, what they would look like, and what he wanted to name them. He liked the names William and Arthur for boys and Elizabeth and Victoria for girls. He knew his wife was thinking of commoner names like Lucas or Mia and he knew he would reject his wife's name ideas and name the children himself if he had too. 

   Five hours had past when finally one loud cry sounded through the whole room and a whimper quietly was heard not even 2 minutes later. " Twin boys, your royal highnesses" the doctor announced cleaning the twins off before handing the royal's their sons. " Which one was the oldest?" Diana and Charles had asked the doctor in sync before he had left the room. " The son your holding your highness is the oldest while your wife, her highness is holding the youngest" the doctor had replied leaving the room to the nurse and the royal couple with their new sons. 

   " What will their names be your highnesses?" the nurse quietly asked, not trying to wake the now sleeping children. The oldest son had dark brown hair tuffs and blue eyes, slightly darker than his mother's while the youngest son had dark blonde hair tuffs and his mother's blue eyes. " The oldest will be named Alastair Fredrick James Phillip" Diana had told the nurse looking as her eldest son who was fast asleep with a slight scrunched look on his face as he slept. " Alastair?" Charles repeated, testing the sound of the slightly unusual name, it was a royal baby name but it had only been heard of once as it was the name of queen Victoria's great-grandson. He surprisingly loved the name his wife suggested and let the nurse write the name down.

   " The youngest son's name will be Arthur" Charles shared causing his wife to look at him slightly funny. " No, I think it's slightly stuffy, dear, what about William?" Diana had claimed. " William?" Charles confusedly asked his wife. " Yes, William Arthur Phillip Louis, we could give him Arthur as a middle name instead" his wife replied. He didn't mind William but he didn't really like Phillip in his son's name because he was never really close to his father but he shut down his issues against his father to the bottom of his body and let the nurse put the name down. 

   "Your royal highnesses, the queen is on the phone" another nurse stated coming into the room. She handed Charles the phone as he held the newly born and son named Alastair and he answered it. " Hello Mummy, we've had twin sons, the eldest and future king named Alastair Fredrick James Phillip and the youngest is named William Arthur Phillip Louis" Charles stated quite proudly to his mother. 

  

    The crowd's gathered outside St. Mary's hospital waiting to meet the new royal and get a glimpse of them. They had figured out that Diana had already given birth but that was it. Finally, the hospital doors opened and out came the couple. Instead of one baby there was two and the crowd's got even more wild and excited. Diana and Charles carefully made their way down the steps as to not drop the children in their arms. A reported had moved it's way from the crowd to talk to the couple.  " How are you feeling?" He asked the couple. " Very happy and very excited" Charles commented not looking at the reporter as his eyes were on his youngest son, William who was still fast asleep, even with the flashing camera's and yelling crowd's. Camera's continued to flash and many pictures were taken of both twins. " Which baby is next in line to the throne after you, your highness?" another reported asked. Diana had help her hand up slightly and waved, signaling to the reporters and crowd's that she was holding the future heir to the throne. " This little one is with his brother right behind him in line" Charles fondly replied, still in a happy haze, not really caring about the crowd or the reporters.

28th June of 1982

It's been announced that Princess Diana has given birth to twin boys, the royal family are reportedly said that they're happy and can't wait to see the twins grow up happy and healthy. 

The royal twins have been named Alastair Fredrick James Phillip and William Arthur Phillip Louis. Prince Alastair is second in line to the throne behind his father and grandmother, who is the current queen. Prince William is the youngest and third in line to the throne behind his grandmother, the queen, his father, and older twin brother. 

The queen mother is happy for her grandson and wishes all the best for the new happy family. The queen has announced that she will be visiting the new family soon. The birth marks the new era for the family and monarchy.
