Cody walked in with a huge smile on his face and started clapping.
We were all sitting on the couch. "Parents are gone! Looks like it's just us." We all started cheering.
We were staying until Thursday. "Sweet!" Charlie cheered.
I was starting to get hungry so I got up to look in the kitchen. When I look at the fridge, I was shocked we were already out of food.
I sigh as I grab my keys. "I'm going to the grocery to get more food. Anyone wanna come?" I announce.
The only one that stood up was Owen. "Let's go." I put my shoes on as we head out.
I look to see what Owen was wearing. His tie dye shirt, basketball shorts, and his goat hat.
I was wearing leggings and a tank top but it was a crop top.
I get in my car as he gets into the passenger seat. Before I pulled out, Chase came running out.
I rolled my window down so I could talk to him. "Let me come with you." I groan as I agree.
He gets in the back as I finally pull out. "So, what were you thinking of getting?" Owen asked as I started driving.
"Well, we need stuff to make a couple dinners, more drinks, some alcohol." I list off.
My brother perked up when I brought up the alcohol. "Can I have some?" He asked with a little smile.
He is only seventeen, but I've caught him multiple times sneaking in and out of parties. He's very well known so he gets invited to almost every party.
"Only if you promise to not tell mom or dad about my fake id?" I look at him through the rear view mirror.
"What if I do?" He tested me. I smirk as I kept my eyes on the road.
Two can play at this game. "Then I'll tell them how you sneak out every Saturday to drink at parties." I could hear him gasp.
"You wouldn't." I could hear Owen snickering from beside me.
"I would. Is it a deal, then?" He agreed with it so we didn't talk about it any longer.
We had made a plan that after we get the food, I was going to go into the alcohol section and get whatever they wanted.
When we finally get to Target, we get out of the car. I grab a buggy and head inside.
About halfway through, I lost the boys which didn't bother me. I got my stuff done faster without them.
I tried to FaceTime Owen when I was done but he didn't pick up.
I started walking around the store aimlessly. A couple minutes later, I found them looking at the toys.
"What the fuck are you two doing?" I ask walking towards them.
They started smiling towards me. "We're looking at the Barbie's." I just shake my head.
I tell them how I got everything as they nodded. As we were walking to the front, they found the bouncy balls.
Chase pulled one out and looked at Owen with a smirk. "You wanna see how high I can bounce it?" Chase asked.
Owen crossed his arms as he waited. Chase used all his energy and strength to bounce the ball.
It almost hit the ceiling and went into the next aisle. "What the hell?" Someone asked.
We all covered our mouths so we wouldn't laugh. We quickly walked away so we wouldn't get in trouble.
We went to the cashier and started checking everything out.
