Io's P.O.V.

I run back towards the pack house to figure out what exactly I'm gonna do. He's not a rogue like Maverick that I can do with as I please. This has to be done right.

Once I get to my office I make several phone calls to Alphas all over the continent. I just need them to be members of a jury so that a fair decision can be made. They all agree and I send out pack members to start setting up everything at the training grounds. It's the only place big enough to host the entire pack comfortably.

Also if anyone gets angry enough they can shift and have enough space to run and blow off steam.I hear a gentle knocking at my door and Dahlia comes in.

"Dahlia." I say smiling at her, "What can I do for you?"

She looks at me in disbelief, "What you can do for me? Ren you've got to be kidding?"

"Yes, what can I do for you, Dahlia?" I ask again knowing my fuse is getting shorter by the second. She shoots me a glare.

"No! You want to know what Ren, I'm done with you acting as if none of this is wrong! You're bottling everything up! It's not healthy." She cries at me and I feel my hardened exterior soften.

"Dali, I have to bottle it up. I have two little ones and an entire pack that rely on me. I don't get to slip up, I don't get to have breakdowns. They will always come first." I say to her firmly so I know she understands my point.

"Alpha is approaching. What do you want us to do?" Hudson asks in our mind-link.

"Bring him to the training grounds. We're going to have a trial. I've got several other Alpha's on a video call to witness and provide council for a just punishment." I say back to him.

"Dahlia, the Alpha is here so we need to head to the training grounds." I say to her and she nods, "What about the kids?"

"I'm gonna have my mom and a few warriors stationed here with the kids. Yes they know the gist of what I went through but I would never traumatize them with the graphic details." I say and she nods again.

"Uhhh, Luna, we have a problem." Hudson mumbles to me and I could just punch something. What the fuck else could possibly be happening?

"What Hudson?" I snap at him as I feel my fuse getting shorter and shorter.

"Your brother is challenging the Alpha. He is livid, says he doesn't deserve the title." He says and now my fuse is gone. I snap my eyes over to Dahlia and she freezes not looking away from me.

"Fix your mate now." I grit out before taking deep breaths to calm myself.

"Done." I say with a satisfied smirk, knowing Dahlia just tore into him and she doesn't even know what he did.

"Thank you. Let's go." I grab her arm in mine and we head out towards the training grounds.

"So, what did Ares do exactly?" She mumbles to me.

"Oh, he was just going to straight up challenge Alpha Jett for his position." I say back to her with a knowing smile on my face.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me." She mutters and I know she's mad. Not because she thinks he couldn't win but that she knows he could be very seriously hurt in the process. If anyone gets to challenge Jett it's me. He can't take my vengeance away from me. Ares is getting on my very last nerve.

The Alpha's may be able to stop me from killing Nox but they can't stop me from challenging Jett. That is my back up plan and has been since I had to have the trial. Someone is going to pay and once I'm Alpha of his pack all of my revenge can be held on Nox without any interference.
