California grimaced as she stared at her hands. Dark blood covered her hands, as blood stained her black wings, which used to be a beautiful white. She hated this, but a part of her was controlling her more than anything.
She's the one that felt most like a puppet.
California snaps out of her thoughts, her evil side coming back to her.
She had a great idea! She'd start to train people to be soldiers, and they'd take over more land. California looks at her globe, trying to find the perfect spot to invade. An upper west coast state catches her eye as a smile creeps up her lips.
She would take over..... Oregon! It was the closest and it would be such an easy prey.
California quickly wrote a letter to the government to start training people to fight and be soldiers. The more land she had the more people she could control. With America hurt, nobody would have their guards up. She would show everyone what she could do!
She'd already got one government official to travel through the portal to discuss things, and she should be here any minute. Cali set up the coffee table with an array of drinks and sweets. She treated her people the best she could, trying to do what's best for them.
A knock shakes the house as California runs to open the door.
Right in front of her was Morine, one of the CA government's officials. She was a middle aged woman with black curly hair dangling from her afro puff. She had caramel skin, and a decent taste in clothes, Cali could do better than that. Morine shakes her head and takes a seat on the sofa, a wobbly smile plastered on her face.
"Hello dear California." Morine attempts to smile at Cali.
California smiles right back at her, a bit more emotion in her voice "Hello."
Morine's face turns into a frown. She had to get on to the more serious matters "California. I heard you shot America."
"Yes," California replied, a bit of guilt in her voice. She shuffled nervously in her seat, feeling the judged eyes of Morine watching her,
"Very well. You know that would make it tricky to take over Oregon." Morine rolls her eyes at the young woman in front of her. She knew Cali was young, and not old enough to make decisions, but she had to do her duty. Maybe even discourage California from doing so.
"How so?" California scoffs. If someone rolled their eyes at her, be prepared for the same back to you.
"Well won't the guard be up? So there aren't more attacks?" Morine asks. California nods.
"But right now with all the chaos, we could manage it. Now are most people trained to be a soldier?"
"Yes." Morine says.
"Good." Cali says, satisfied "We shall attack the border tomorrow at sunset. You can start from Eureka and march to the border, crossing it."
"Yes ma'am." Morine nods. She knew this plan would fail, and how could a child like California rule? She is way younger than most government officials in human years. She gets up without a word, exiting the house, leaving California.
California gets up, walking into her room, a scary smile on her face "Watch out siblings~ I'm coming for you,"
A drawing @Flamingo943 made for me. It depicts California's idea board above her desk :)
