Turns out that gray nogitsune was right...Kiki does have a fox possessing her. Master Darkness thought.
He never knew that kitsune could possess each other, and from what his companion told him, Kiki's possession went wrong. Usually, kitsune possess humans through their fingernails or their chests, but Kiki's possessor did it through the right eye. From what was said, she can't control Kiki's body unless her right eye is able to take in light and see the outside world. Also, Kiki's physical appearance changed, which doesn't happen often. Sometimes, when a human is possessed by a fox spirit, the fox has to hide their tails and ears. Since she wasn't doing that, Kiki's appearance was altered.
"Kiki," was looking around, confused about what was happening. She then stared at Darkness, and then she spoke gruffly.
"First question: who in Heaven's name are you?"
"Ah, well," Master Darkness said, not knowing how to respond, "I am Master Darkness, atleast, that's what the public calls me anyway."
"Second question: why am I in control of Kiki's body? You sure seem to look like you have something to do with it."
"I forced her to let you out, you see, a friend of yours told me about your possession over Kiki."
"A friend of mine...You know Li?!" "Kiki" blurted out.
"Is that a nickname? Anyway, I feel we're getting off topic, you still haven't introduced yourself however," Master Darkness said.
  "And why should I?"
"Well, I feel if we're going to...cooperate together...then we should know each other."
"What do you mean by "cooperate together?" she asked.
"My, you sure do like to ask a lot of questions," Darkness replied.
"I like to know things," she said, "Raven." Raven held out her hand so Darkness could shake it.
Darkness took Raven's hand and shook it. "Pleasure to meet you," he replied. "I think we're going to make an excellent team."
Raven squeezed Master Darkness' hand and smirked.
"See, here's the thing about that..." she said grimly, as fire began to spark from her tails.
Darkness tried to pull his hand away from Raven's grip, but she held onto it tighter. As the fire from Raven's tails spread around the room, Raven finally let go.  However, Master Darkness was caught deep in the flames that she had created.
"This-this isn't real!" he shouted as the fire licked at his clothes.
"Oh, I assure you, it's very real."  Raven said from the darkness.
Master Darkness teleported away from the fire, but he didn't realize that it had spread so far. He teleported right into an inferno of flames as memories flashed in his head.
"YOU PROMISED!" he wailed.  "YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD RETURN MY SON TO ME!"
Raven felt some pity for the man, but that didn't last long. As Master Darkness melted away, Raven left the scene. She had other things to do; she hadn't been able to do anything she wanted in a long time...

Kai fell onto his back as he was pushed through the portal. He saw it close as the others surrounded him.
"Kai! Mother of Inari are you okay?!" Delta asked.
  "K...K...K..."
  "W-hat?" Delta asked him.
Kai turned to face the group.
"Kiki..." he said, with tears in his eyes. He let out a scream of anger and swiftly ran over to the wall. He punched it, over and over over as he kept on screaming.
"CURSE YOU DARKNESS!" Kai sobbed out. "CURSE YOU!"
The other watched sadly as Kai kept crying. Then Marph came over and asked, "W-where is she?"
"I...I don't know...she- must still be in the boiler room or something..."
"If only one of us had eyes and ears as good as Kiki's, then we could find her," Nova said.
Adam hadn't  said anything, instead, he pointed down a hallway, and there was a raging angry fire, coming right for them.
The others just stared in shock as the fire raged on, spreading rapidly. As Kai noticed the fire, he quickly said to Adam, "You know your way around this place, so c'mon! Get us out of here!"
Adam led the others through the factory as it began to crumble and burn. Kai pulled his shirt over his mouth and nose to protect himself from the smoke as he ran.
There's no time to worry about Kiki...right now the only thing I should be worrying  about is getting out of here and surviving. Kai thought.
Kai focused on his hearing, and heard sirens outside the burning building. Finally Adam led the others through a door and they ran out of the factory.
Kai and the others kept running until they safely made it away. It was then that Kai realized that they had left Kiki behind.
"NO!" Kai shouted, turning around. He started back towards the factory but Marph pulled him back.
"She'll be okay, she's probably escaped already," he said.
"But what if she didn't make it out?!" Kai protested. "She's still in there! And with that monster too!"
Kai suddenly felt eyes on him, but he didn't know who was looking at him.
"Kai, we can find her," Delta said, sniffing the air. Delta was a trybird, having angel wings, dragon horns, as well as wolf ears and a wolf tail. She had no extra powers other than breathing fire and canine senses.
Delta continued sniffing the air trying to track Kiki's scent. Then, she pointed to Goldspring City.
"She's there!" Delta stated. The others followed Delta away from the factory and into the city.
Since Kiki isn't here to make us look like humans, then our true identities are exposed.
As they entered Goldspring city, the group noticed many people running around trying to flee the city. People constantly ran into them as people were running in the opposite direction.
Once they made it to the center of the city, where most buildings were, Kai noticed that many of the buildings were on fire. Fire trucks were everywhere, their sirens wailed in Kai's ears. Then, he noticed a group of police officers coming towards them.
"Everyone, please get on the ground and place your hands behind your back, you're under arrest."
Kai froze and so did the others.
"I'm sorry, what did you just say?" Kai asked.
"You heard me, don't even try to fight back. Anything you say or do will be used against you in the court of law."
"Sorry, sir, but we're on a mission; surely you know who we are?"
"We know good and well who guys are, but please do as we instructed. We're being generous here." a police woman said.
"May we ask why we're being arrested?" Nova asked.
"Because, you were recently seen leaving a burning factory. We just got word that a body was discovered there."
  Kai became worried.
"Who's body was it?! What did they look like?!" he asked.
  The officers stared at Kai.
That was not the right thing to say...
"We...don't know why you're asking, and again, this will be used against you, but it belonged to a man in his late 30's," the first officer said.
So there were no other bodies? That means Kiki's okay!
"We're going to take you in for questioning, please comply and put down your weapons."
"I'm sorry, but we can't do that," Marph said.
"Do as we instructed you, or else." a third officer stated, holding out his gun.
"You seriously think that a gun's going to stop us?" Kai said.
"I SAID: DO AS WE INSTRUCTED YOU!" the officer shouted. The others were taken aback by this.
"Please, listen, we had nothing to do with whatever you want to take us in for! We have to find our friend!" Delta pleaded.
"If your friend is missing you can fill out a report later, now come with us," the female officer said.
"No, we'll fight you if we have to but we're not stopping until we find Kiki!" Kai protested.
The three officers stood their ground, but so did the X-Team. As the officers threatened to shoot down Kai, Adam stepped forward.
"Everyone," he said, "Please...look away..." Kai and the others had no clue what Adam was going to try to do, and it scared them. Kai looked away from Adam and so did the others.
As soon as the others had looked away, Adam looked down and  the officers spoke.
"Listen kid, we're so sorry about this, but you've got no other choice. You may be heroes, but you have to-" Adam looked up to stare at the officers. A smile danced across his lips as he took on a demonic transformation. His body twisted and contorted, changing shape and color. His eyes didn't fit into his sockets, and his skin became warped and distorted.
Ear-splitting screams came from all three officers. Once they saw him, it was over. Adam stood still, making horrific sounds of screaming and garbled noises. Pain shot through one of the officers as his eyes exploded in his sockets into a bloody pulp. He then placed the gun he was holding onto his temple, and then, a gunshot rang out into the air. No one heard or saw anything because of all the commotion. The two other officers suffered the same fate as well.
Silence reigned over the group for a couple of minutes. Adam finally reverted back to his normal self, and the others looked at him, to see pools of blood around all three police officers.
Nova walked over to Adam, who was staring blankly at the dead bodies.
"You did have an ability, didn't you?" she asked. Adam nodded, as tears streamed down his cheeks.
  "You...you killed them?" Delta asked.
"No, I didn't..." Adam replied. "They killed themselves..."
