Mochi's POV
Ida stood at the front of the classroom. He exclaimed, "Everyone! Morning home room is about to begin, to your seats." I heard a few comments as he went to sit down.
Dad then opened the door, "Morning."
Some people made comments about his health. They don't even know that he may go blind... Dad went to his desk and sat down, "My welfare isn't important. Your fight is far from over." Mummers erupted from the class. Dad explained, "U.A.'s sports festival is fast approaching."
Most of the class proclaimed it was "ordinary." Have they never watched it on tv? It's a major event. Probably the biggest current one.
Dad mentioned that the police presence would be up five times due to recent events. That it is "The greatest opportunity you'll get." He then explained a bit more about its popularity and how it was needed. I heard people begin talking about how heroes scouted and how it'd be possible to be sidekicks.
Dad explained, "Naturally you'll gain valuable experience and popularity if you are picked by a big-name hero. But your time is limited, show the pros what you're made of here. And you'll make futures for yourselves. This happens once a year... So you've got three chances. If you're hoping to become a hero, this is an event you can't miss."

As we left the fourth period and headed to lunch Kiri burst out, "This has got me so freaking pumped!"
I heard Sero slightly behind us, "If we show our stuff here, that's one big step towards going pro."
I followed Kiri off to the lunch room. He looked at me, "What if Crimson Riot scouted me?"
I thought about it. I don't think he's the best option. I replied, "Although he's your favorite, he's probably not the best option for you."
Kiri grinned, "Then who would be?"
I stated, "Well let's start easy, All Might, Endeavor, and Hawks wouldn't be good. Best Jeanist, Edgeshot, Mirko, and Kamui Woods aren't great either. Crust would probably be the best high-ranked one but I wouldn't exactly see you with them either."
Denki cut in, "What about me?"
I giggled lightly, "Really?" I thought about it as we pushed open the cafeteria doors. I responded, "Well, I don't particularly know. But you'd do much better using your quirk like a taser."
He glanced at me, "A taser?"
I nodded, "Yeah, you'd save how much you need to shock saving yourself from burnout. By touching a person you should be able to act like a taser."
Kiri asked, "What about you?"
I sighed, "I don't know if I want to be an underground hero or a seen one... So I don't know yet. Although Eraserhead would be best for my erasure quirk training. Not exactly a thing for fire."
Denki commented, "Endeavor is a fire hero."
I bluntly stated, "I hate that man, so let's not talk about him. Even if I got offered anything by him I'd refuse." I stared at the line we had gotten in without me paying much attention, ramen.
