5-Quirks

Mochi's POV

I stared at myself in the mirror. I thought back to the drawing that I had done a while ago. The uniform subsidy and whatever company did well I think.

I pulled all my hair up into a ponytail. I grinned placing a personal bow in my hair. I glanced back at the mirror once more. There's mesh so dad won't care about the front. I hope he doesn't mention the back. I rushed out following someone with green bunny ears.

I let out a yawn as everyone was talking. I then heard the blue-haired boy. Iida? Iida, I think. Iida stated, "Sensei, this appears to be where we took the entrance exams. Will be doing city maneuvers again?"

All Might stated, "Nope. You'll move on to indoor anti-personnel battle training. More villains are seen outdoors but statistics say the worst ones are indoors. So you will be split into teams of two."

He pulled out a slip of paper. He read, "Villian teams and hero teams. You will face off in two-on-two battles. The villains will hide a bomb in the hideout. The heroes have to go in and take care of it. The heroes have to capture the villains or secure the weapon. The villains must capture the heroes or defend the weapon."

He smiled, "As there isn't an even number of students it will be partners by drawing lots. Whoever gets the only J joins the first team as heroes."

Everyone drew, and I went last. I grabbed the very last ball out of the box. I flipped it over, J. Now I go first... I walked over as everyone else was pairing up.

Kirishima smiled at me, "What'd you get?" I held it out and let him see it. He said, "Oh... you nervous?"

I mumbled, "A bit..."

Kirishima patted my shoulder. He whispered, "It's happening." I instantly shook my head and pulled myself back together. Can't get close to All Might, I don't need to make him poof.

All Might smiled, "Moving on, first up are these! The heroes are team A and the villains are team D." I glanced around trying to find group A.

I soon noticed Izuku was nervous after Bakugo left. All Might had told us to "go all out." I stared at the blueprints trying to commit them to memory. I bit my lip as I knew I was getting nervous. I looked up, "Should I cancel out the whole building?"

Izuku turned to me with wide eyes. He asked, "You can?"

I nodded, "Yeah, I can do it for everyone but myself. I can't affect myself."

We climbed into a window. Uraraka cheerfully said, "successful infiltration." We slowly crept in following Izuku. I noticed Bakugo leap out from behind a corner. I started canceling him yet he had already gotten off one explosion.

I felt the tension and released my erasure. Let them have a fistfight. Izuku called out, "Run on ahead!" Uraraka and I took off.

After climbing some stairs I sighed. It's a cheap trick... I stated, "All quirks are canceled."

Uraraka looked and seemed to try and use hers. She got frustrated. She mumbled, "Why's that?"

I softly replied, "Me." Soon enough we peeked around a corner to see Iida. Iida was mumbling about being villainous. Uraraka began to laugh and I ducked behind the corner.

Iida kept backing away from Uraraka. Soon enough I watched her run herself to it. Iida instantly snatched it away. And ran slightly faster. He ran opposite of her and back towards the doorway.

I simply came from the other side and touched it. I then set the ground between him and the weapon on fire. I heard through the headset, "The hero team wins!" It's been a three-on-two, I'm not very surprised. I bet Bakugo hated fighting without a quirk.

I then quit using erasure. I smiled cheerfully, "Let's head back down. I wonder how Bakugo and Izuku did."

Uraraka stated, "I'm sure Deku did his best."

I nodded in agreement. I stated, "Um, Iida, right?"

He looked at me, "Yes, my name is Tenya Iida. It's amazing to meet you. I don't think I've ever heard your name."

I began leading us down the stairs. I stated, "Mizo... Mochi Mizo. Well, Ida, I think you did amazing. You knew how to defend it. You made the floor to that we had nothing to use. You didn't notice me, that was the only downfall."

We got into the monitor room. I kept glancing at Izuku. He had a bruise on his chin and some scratches. All Might stated, "I'd say the VIP of this battle was Mizo!"

The girl with long green hair said, "Not Midoriya or Bakugo?"

All Might said, "I wonder why? Does anyone know?!"

A girl raised her hand. I glanced at her she was in red with a black ponytail. She called out, "I do, sensei. It's because she was able to utilize her surroundings the best."

She started digging deeper, "From what I saw all of Bakugo's actions were motivated by a personal grudge. As you stated sensei, destructive indoor attacks are foolish. Midoriya suffered from these same faults. Uraraka lost focus and had her position given away in a spot where she shouldn't."

She stated, "Iida formed a counter-strategy and planned for the struggles. In the end, he wasn't perceptive of all his surroundings."

She then put her eyes on me. I tried to stand up taller. She stated, "Mizo meanwhile seemed to know every corner of the building. She was thorough in everything. She stuck back as Uraraka charged in. She touched the bomb and then placed fire between it and Ida. She took the weapon then kept away the villain."

Everyone was in silence. All Might stated, "I-I'd like to add she was so silent she was undetectable... But, yes, you're correct."

A/n: The bow on her hero costume is symbolic. I'd love to hear if anyone figures it out. It's not exactly hard to place together, but requires some thinking. It will eventually end up discussed in later chapters. [Private Message] with the answer and get an @ and time stamp for when it was solved in the next published chapter. The first 5 get this, unless the chapter explaining it comes out before getting 5 people.

A/n holiday: Also I hope that Everyone has a good holiday season. Happy Holidays! With all this rough weather I won't get to see my family tomorrow on Dec. 25. I'm sorry I've been so lost within myself this holiday season although this is my present to you guys.

A/n personal: In sad news, I lost my dad at the end of November. Celebrate hard and eat up in my stead this year.
