Mochi's POV

I stood outside the door with Izuku. He spoke up, "Here we are. My mom's been asking to meet you since I started telling her about you last month." His mom, you've got this. It's all okay...

I took a deep breath and released it. I stared at him as he opened the door. I heard from inside, "Izuku! You're home!"

He stepped inside with me on his heels. He called back, "Yeah, and I've got my friend!" We went further inside and in a few moments, I saw his mom appear from around a corner.

She had on a pink cardigan. She was note-ably shorter than Izuku and even shorter than me. She had a full figure. Her green hair and eyes drew my attention to her. She burst out, "You must be Mizo-San!"

She came over and grabbed my hands, "I'm so glad Izuku has another friend now. I'm Inko Midoriya, it's so nice to meet you."

I withdrew my hands and bowed to her. I stood back up, "My name is Mochi Mizo. Thank you for allowing me inside your home."

She smiled softly, "Switch into the guest slippers and come into the living room. I'd be happy to talk to you." I sat down near the entry.

Izuku stated, "She's very happy to meet you."

I nodded, "Obviously." I changed into the slippers and followed Izuku. I noticed a bookshelf full of photos of a little girl. I paused, "Hey-"

Izuku responded to me, "Yes?"

I pointed to the photos. There were probably about four different photos of this girl on the lower two shelves, a small girl throughout them. She had on mainly skirts or frilly dresses. She had curly green hair that was to her shoulders in some and past them in others. I said, "Is that your little sister on the bottom two shelves?"

Izuku stiffened for a moment then let out a breath releasing his shoulders again. He said, "No, that was me when I was little."

I smiled, "You were cute." I turned my attention back to him, "You still have your freckles. Adorable."

Izuku blushed slightly at the comment. He motioned for me to follow. I followed after him a few more steps to the living room. Izuku said, "Well, I guess we're all going to talk."

Inko responded, "Of course, come on sit down." I looked at her in the armchair and went over to the couch. Izuku sat down on the opposite side of the couch. She went on, "I've never met you, who are your parents? Do you live around here?"

I replied, "Oh, I don't live too far away. Just a little bit of a walk." I gently fidgeted with my clothes lightly.

She repeated, "Who are your parents?"

I bit my lip for a moment. I then decided it wouldn't hurt to be honest. I know Izuku won't say anything at school. I stated, "My dads kind of... in a way but not exactly adopted me... They're great, I love them." My eyes fell to my lap.

Inko said, "Oh, I'll just have to meet them. I bet they're wonderful! What do they do?"

I looked back up at her. Inko had a beaming smile as she looked at me expectantly. I shook my head to shake off my surprise. I said, "Oh... My dad is a teacher. Papa hosts a radio show."

Inko nodded her head. Izuku said, "Your dads sound great." My eyes turned to him. All those photos only had him and some had his mom. Izuku said, "See I love my mom so much. She's done amazing."

I somberly said, "I loved mine too."

Izuku's eyes then lit up. He turned to his mom. I watched him in his excitement. He stated, "Mom, remember how she has two quirks! Isn't that amazing?!" His mom nodded in response to him. I grinned at all the excitement.
