Rory hunched over in pain as a knife lodged itself into her stomach, she swiped her hand up and across the metal tugging it out and letting the purple energy seep into the bloody wound, healing it as quick as she could. She shot her head up and saw James struggling to fight of two guards. She formed a sword out of thin air and floated it into his hand in the blink of an eye, as soon as he got a good grip, he swung forwards and pushed the weapon into a man's heart. Rory took care of the other man with a simple snap of the neck using her magic.

They both stood tall, and she took a glance towards him as he was taking deep breaths. "C'mon loser!" she beckoned, and she stalked towards the new door they had come across before they were so rudely interrupted by idiots with death wishes. James followed obediently and they both walked through the opening and into the next room.

"The throne room is down that corridor to the right and there are stairs that lead down to the dungeons and cells through that door." James informed her. He went to carry on explaining when she stopped walking and stuck out her hand to stop him. "The dungeons?" she asked with a smirk. James nodded slowly and suddenly decided that whatever she was thinking about was dangerous. "Well, how perfect. We needed a good distraction." she told him with one eyebrow raised and with purple fog surrounding her. She swung forward with her magic and the door to the dungeons flung open with a creak. "Can you not just use your clone things for that?" James asked warily. Rory laughed and took her first step down the stairs. "No, this is so much more fun, and they cannot blame it on me." She so casually told him. She carried on down the dark staircase with James following closely behind her.

They both came to a stop in front of a black door engraved with the words, "Dangereux." Stood to the sides of the door were two guards wearing that same metal plating that James and Angus wore. They wore stoic faces and were stood tall. One had light brown hair with blue eyes the colour of the ocean and the other had black short hair with deep hazel eyes. They both wore belts harbouring well-polished silver swords. Instantly they withdrew their swords and got into their fighting stances. Rory laughed and said, "Impressive, however you are in my way" She forged her hand into a fist and the men curled in on themselves and were sent to the floor. She was taking every breath from their lungs and squeezing their hearts. The guards wheezed and attempted to take breaths in but were stopped by Rory's magic. James stood with a frown on his face and winced watching the men take their last breaths. "Well now that is over..." Rory said with a slight up curl of her lip. She reached for the handle and turned it as it clicked. "Hey, they didn't even try and lock this one" she said whilst laughing the loudest James had ever heard her laugh. James looked down and withheld a tear and he saw the bodies in his mind, 13 people had now been brutally murdered. Two more because he refused to do as she had said, now he had accepted to follow orders.

As the door to the dungeons opened the sounds surged through. A long corridor with cells on either side, full of prisoners and criminals of all offences. Rory had no care for who she was setting free, she was not even sure if they were strong enough to get past the palace's guards, however she stalked on. As she walked towards the first cell, she noticed they were not locked by a door, there was mystical wall, a golden energy wall. She took a glance in the corner of the cell and saw a shriveled up man, cowering down. She shrugged and placed her hand onto the gold energy. She felt the electricity running through and pondered what her next move would be. She pressed her other hand against the wall and focused all her energy. She connected her magic to all the cells and broke the seal. Stepping back with a smirk on her face she shouted, "You are free, go cause chaos. And kill who you please." A few of the prisoners exchanged weird glances and walked out of their cells.

As she went to turn around and make her way out of the dungeons, she noticed a small light down the end of the corridor. Her curiosity got the better of her and she beckoned James to follow her. As she approached the light, she realised the cell was much larger than all the others and that it is seal had not been broken. She followed her gaze from the small light to the bed and looked upon a man. His broad shoulders facing her, with his black shoulder length hair grazing the back of his neck. It seemed to Rory that he was hunched over. She stood with James behind her for a few minutes before becoming bored of the silence. She coughed loudly and muttered an "Excuse me." The man huffed and spun around abruptly before widening his eyes at the sight. James took a step back at the sight. The man took a second before composing himself and saying, "You must be the reason that every imbecile in this place is now free to leave." Rory smirked and raised her eyebrow. James stood back in his place in fear that she would kill another. "Now why didn't your seal break?" she pondered before walking along the edge of the man's cell.
