Thor sat in a small diner in downtown New York with his friend Steve Rogers, better known as Captain America.

He had come to Midgard after the escape of his imprisoned, adoptive brother Loki, God of Mischief and prisoner Aurora St Claire. They were both highly dangerous and manipulative. He figured Loki might go to a different realm, as Midgard now hated him, he would not blend in on planet earth. But he was not sent after his brother, he was sent after Miss St Claire, Odin, Ruler of Asgard made it clear to Thor that Aurora was the most dangerous and powerful soul he had ever even heard of. She was so much more of a threat than Loki, Odin told Thor he wasn't strong enough to ever even harm the woman and that he would need assistance, when Thor suggested the Warrior's three and Sif, the greatest protectors of Asgard Odin profusely denied and ensured he would need stronger help. Odin didn't like the idea of his eldest son being affiliated with Midgard's protectors 'The Avengers' but they had stopped Loki and the Chitauri once before, so he suggested to his son that he finds his old friends to assist him in taking down the strongest being known to Odin.

Thor had been searching for weeks for his old friends, he had found Bruce Banner, better known as The Hulk, he had also found Tony Stark, better known as Iron man, as he was not hard to find being a multimillionaire who was filmed everywhere he went. He had been searching for Steve for just over a week when he finally got a chance to persuade him. Tony had declined the offer and so had Bruce, Steve wasn't completely convinced, he wanted more information and knew that getting into this could only cause more destruction but was aware that the more help Thor could get would be appreciated and it must be important if the ruler of Asgard was weary of the woman.

Thor felt a vibration in his trouser pocket as he was just about to explain to Steve about Loki escaping, he reached down to answer the phone call from 'Tony Stark'.

"Hey, have you seen the news, dipshits..." Tony said casually, knowing from his technology that Thor and Steve were together currently.

"No, what do you mean?" Steve asked abruptly, confused as to what the sarcastic cocky man wanted.

"Ask that pretty blonde waitress over by the counter to put the news on and turn up the volume..." he trailed off knowing that he sounded slightly like a stalker.

The men ignored Tony's strange ways and murmured to the waitress the man had mentioned. Moments later the news flipped on, and the footage of the lorry crash was placed on the screen, the footage from the other attacks playing on the screen minutes after. The two superhumans furrowed their eyebrows and watched the attackers shoot themselves after shouting "It was necessary... your welcome master...".

Tony's voice came back into play over the top of the television, "Thor I know what I said about that woman, that it wasn't a big deal, but this can't just be a coincidence can it?"

Thor looked at Steve before the Captain ordered, "Bring in the rest of them Stark, we keep this under control though, away from Fury and from Shield. No government involved; we don't want to alert anybody before properly assessing the situation. Get Banner and Barton to New York ASAP, I will find Romanoff and I'm going to bring in somebody else."

"Yes, Capsicle... Goodbye God of Hammers..." Tony spoke before the line cut off, preventing either of the men from answering his rude nicknames that everybody around him just seemed to accept.

The men looked at each other in worry and Thor nodded as a thank you.

After Banner was brought in, Tony found Clint Barton's, better known as Hawkeye, mobile phone number and gave him a call, ordering that the band was getting back together for a very important reason but that everything was being kept very quiet.
