Black Clover: Hatred of the devil hybrid (Sequel Of Walking On The Wrong Path)

Chapter 7 | Battle begins

It's been 2 days since the captains' meeting and the preparation for the invasion. Everyone was training for the last 2 days. Now Nacht has gathered with the black bulls, Fuegoleon, Nozel, Jack, Rill, Dorothy, Charlotte and surprisingly Sekke, Sally, Rades, Valtos and another researcher are there too.

They wore a special clothes just for the invasion. Nacht told them that they should go to the spade kingdom before the qliphoth ritual starts. He uses his shadow magic to make a door which will be connected to the spade castle.

In the spade kingdom castle, Asta is standing near where Yami and William are at. "Are you sure that clover kingdom will be safe during this ritual?" Yami asks worriedly because Asta told him about the ancient demon is going to attack clover kingdom and a distraction for the upcoming invasion. "Don't worry, Liebe will handle it. He's heading to clover kingdom before the ancient demon is reaches there." Asta says calmly but suddenly the pain came back. He stubbled back then he held his head with his hand as a support. Around a minute, the pain subsided but when he lift up his head, his right eye's iris is completely red with a vertical slit like pupil.

"Oi kid, are you alright?" Yami asks "Shit, I'm running out of time soon. I've never thought it would be this quick." Asta cursed under his breath, Yami heard it and caught his curiosity. "What do you mean by running out of time? You still have more secret you haven't told me?" Yami asks as he narrows his eyes. Asta hesitated for a while then sighs before explaining

"Every devil hybrid has their own human side and demonic side. If they know their demonic heritage, their demonic side will be awaken. If their anger and hatred are stronger than their human side, merge with each other like me, but most of their demonic side will take control. Also those who have merged with their demonic side, their humanity will slowly get devour by the demonic side. Those who doesn't accept their demonic side might be worse, their demonic side might just suddenly take over them and the human side will instantly disappear. Basically they will be a full demon and starts destroying things. You can't stop anything for those who know their heritage, it will get worse of you try to stop the progression. But there's not many devil hybrids in the world." Asta explains. Suddenly Zenon uses spatial magic to teleport himself to Asta which kinda surprised Asta.

"What are you doing here?" Asta asked as he glared at Zenon. "Nothing, just wanna inform you that there's intruders entered the castle, we are going to start the ritual" Zenon said in monotone then he walked back to the portal without looking back at Asta. "So they have started the invasion huh? That means I have to be apart with them soon and I have to fight them" Asta said sadly.

With the magic knights who invaded the spade kingdom castle, they split into 5 groups. Nozel, Dorothy and Fuegoleon encounter the dark disciple, Nacht and Jack went to where Dante is, Charlotte and Rill went to where Vanica is while Yuno and Langris went to the library where Zenon is at and the black bulls is going to the middle to save the captains. Before reaching their destination, they felt the ground shaking. An ancient demon appeared in front of the castle, then it was going to destroy the place but suddenly the ancient demon received a punch from Mereoleona. The ancient demon got distracted by Mereoleona and started attacking her.

The 3 groups who is fighting the dark triad arrived at where the Zogratis siblings. They started their fight and they defeated the dark triad in a short time although some of them got some scratches from the fight. Nacht uses one of his devil's ability to see if the ritual has stopped but the first gate is slowly opening. The magic knights can feel an ominous feeling around them, the ancient demon that is outside the castle grew wings behind it's back by absorbing mana in the air while the dark triad got back up and they are using 100% of their devil's power, there's also 2 devils appeared. When the first gate fully opened, the black bulls arrived at where Asta, Yami and Willam are at.

"Asta, give captain Yami back and come back to us!" The black bulls yelled "The black bulls... I'll return Yami back to you all but I can't go back with you. I've told you about the plan in the recording device didn't I?" Asta look at them then he remembered 2 devils came out of the qliphoth, he summoned Lucifer and asked him to deal with the 2 devils.

In the clover kingdom forsaken realm, an ancient demon can be seen from a distance away. The black dot flying near the ancient demon can be seen too, the black dot is Liebe who is trying to chase up and stop the ancient demon from attacking the kingdom. 'Dammit, it became faster after the gate of qliphoth opened' he cursed in his mind. After awhile Liebe finally caught up the demon, he took out demon slayer and make it bigger by putting anti-magic around it. He cut the demon's head off and cut it in half, then he took out demon dweller to make the corpse of the demon into smaller pieces by sending out black slashes. "That took me awhile, now I have to better go back as fast as I could." He says as he headed to the direction where he came from.

In the spade kingdom castle, all the magic knights are struggling while the black bulls are trying to talk with Asta but he gets more annoyed and frustrated. "I've told you, I will give Yami back to you. He won't die because I'm going to the underworld and stop the qliphoth!" Asta yelled in frustration.

The black bulls was going to use the black bulls whole bull like base to punch him when he told them. Suddenly the pain comes back, this time the pain us much more painful than the previous times. He wasn't able to react and put up his reflection in time, he got punched to the wall, the wall was dented from the impact, there's dust and debris. At the same time, Liebe arrived at the centre of the castle. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ASTA!" Liebe shouted

Suddenly the black bulls felt an ominous feeling coming from the debris, then they heard a laugh, the laugh is filled with excitement and a red eye glowed in the dust. "This is bad... this is real bad... we've never expect this to happen this early" Liebe said softly as he is shivering in fear 'I have to tell Lucifer about it but where is he?!' He immediately flew to the other rooms where the dark triad is.

"I've warned you about it but it seems that things has gone more interesting than I thought. I finally find something to fight" Asta smirked as he walked out of the cloud of dust. Both of his eyes are red, he has wings and a tail behind him and horns on his head. Everyone in the castle is able to feel the murderous intent coming out from Asta, the intent gave everyone an uneasy feeling to them, especially Lucifer and Nacht.

'Dammit, he has fully awaken... I have to hurry and stop him. Luckily I'vefinished dealing the devils from the first gate' Lucifer thought then he quickly rush to the middle of the castle. When he is on the way to the middle of castle, he met Liebe who look worried and uneasy. "Lucifer, something has triggered Asta's full awakening! We have to stop him before he hurts his former friends!" Liebe shouted then he followed Lucifer back to the centre of the castle. When they arried at the centre of the castle, they saw the black bulls are all defeated.

"Boring... it's so boring... I thought I could actually fight someone who is stronger than me. But you can give me a good fight right, Lucifer, Liebe?" Asta glance at both of them, he is showing a sadistic smile on his face, which showing the hunger to fight and destruction.
